...and I just saw it drop to 95. I think I died a little on the inside. I want to get to 100...[all the cool hubbers]* are at 100! :'(
*yes, epic hyperbole, I know...couldn't help myself.
Anyways, what's the highest personal Hubscore you have ever gotten?
Oh..I seem to hover between 90 and 96. It goes up and down like a toilet seat. Who cares, really
You can get to 100, it's not that difficult ... but it sucks the life out of you trying to keep it because it's not in your hands to keep it at 100.
100 depends on many factors - and it's nice to get there, but it's not the be all and end all.
Just write a few more great hubs and enjoy the forums instead.
I've been 100, really not bothered that I'm not now. Certainly not going to break into a sweat to get there again
I've been 100 a couple of times too. First reached that score like two months after I joined HP. Don't ask me why, I absolutely have no idea how I reached that number. I wasn't really expecting it but it was a nice surprise.
I agree with IzzyM, don't sweat it. It will come (and when you least expect it too). Good luck and hope you post it here when (not if) you get that score .
I won't lie, the feeling was awesome when I saw mine at 100, I took a computer pic of it so I could have a memento for the day it would be down. Happened too soon... It's like getting a A in the hardest class you have, then the teacher going over the grade book saying "Oops, I made a mistake"....
Good Luck getting there!!
Thanks to all for your support!
@IzzyM: My hub views per day have steadily been going up: As I write this, I currently have 262 hub visits in the last 24 hours.
It's not translating too well in Adsense though. I'm hoping for the snowball effect though (the more hubs you have, the more views, and thus the higher the chance of profit).
I should reach 50 hubs pretty soon.
@Sweetsusieg: 82 hubs in 2 months.
I think I did 20 in 2 days, but got burned out. That and college made me leave the site for a few months, but now that I graduated, I have more time to write.
You can't be dying a little when your score drops. That's what goes on with these scores. Mine goes between 95 and 100. I like 100 better but can't die a little when I spend a few days at 95. It all just has to be fine (and it is).
Getting to 100 is nice as we would all like to acheive that, but more importantly is earning some money and your hub score has nothing to do with that.
I like being at 100. Makes me feel like I'm in charge and can bark orders at people That's what I do all the while when I'm stewing at 97 and 98, just waiting for who I'll tell off once I finally reach 100 again!!
Just kidding.
I would love to have a 100, however, as long as I am in the 90's I am happy!
Back at 95 again, after having been all the way up at 98. The part that scared me a bit is that I published 3 hubs yesterday and my score plummeted 4 points today (and got one back, leaving me at the 95 I have at the time of this post).
Is that normal behavior? (Due to the low-ish score new hubs have while they mature) Or, did I do something wrong?
My highest was a 95. I was glad to see that because I know I was so close to getting 100 but oh well. I will keep on writing more. Maybe I will get 100 then.
I had 97 once, but I blinked and it fell to 96. At the moment it is fluctuating between 93 and 96 which I am happy with. ( ok actually I am totally thrilled) The elusive 100 would be a timely encouragement but its only a number. ( you wait if it hits 100 I will be letting everyone know)
So, I'm still at 95 at the moment (at least 5 is my favorite number ), but I got the accolade for reader feedback in my articles, so thanks to everyone who's been following my articles up to now!
I am between 91 and 96 but it goes up and down all day long. In the morning it is 96 by the I shut down for the day I will be at 92.
What IzzyM said- "What is far more important IMO is getting organic traffic to your hubs and earning some money..neither of which have anything to do with hubberscore."
I gave up trying to figure out Hubscores a long time ago. They seem to have no rhyme or reason. Often when I'm on fire- writing hubs, participating in forums, answering all of my comments, commenting on other hubs, earnings up, traffic up- my Hubscore goes down!
If you look through the top Hubbers by score, again, there seems to be no pattern. Sometimes they have not published a hub in months, some have very few hubs, a few have very little traffic. The most important component to me seems to be the amount of followers a Hubber has, oddly enough.
But that's just my observations...
My highest was 94 Don't worry, Keep on writing and that score will jump :3
I guess I will say something really quick while I am at 100 before It goes down again. I have no idea how I got it. It just shows up every once in a while, so don't worry about it too much it will happen if you stay active with hubpages. My goal is to get at least one of my hubs to 100 that is something I have not been able to accomplish yet, but it is a goal.
@Whikat: Congrats!
I'm sure you'll get a hub to 100 soon! My Hub score record is 93, if I'm not mistaken, while my personal score has been as high as 98.
@blatva: Thanks for the support!
@Angela Harris: Indeed, it's strange, up to a point.
@Mikeydoes: Awww, thanks man!
Much appreciated!

Is a hubscore of 88 in 11 days okay? Or does it mean I've a lot of work to do?
by badcompany99 14 years ago
Just noticed that the Hub score decreases after a period of time, I know learning all the time. Also noticed your overall Hubscore goes up and down, so what does one do to make them get higher or just remain constant ?

Why do you think the hub with the highest score was scored higher than your others? Interested to know.

What most fundamentally makes up a hubscore of 100?YAY!!!!!! I've just achieved a hubscore of 100 for the first time!! It was great to see after reaching 99 a couple of times, and I feel genuinely a sense of triumph and pleasure at this accolade. But ... Is this an accolade of which one should be...

I just finished my fiftieth hub. Am I on a harder scoring system now? My profile page hubscore dived today from 97 to 92 in two hours.. Have I done something wrong? All I have done since is comment on a couple of pages, so what changed it so drastically. I have seldom been this low.My hubpages on...
