Okay, so I have followed all the instructions given in this page:
http://learningcenter.hubpages.com/1-2- … s-adsense/
so what am i going to do? Sit, post and wait?
How can I know about my earnings? Where can I see it? By vising my adsense account overview? Cause when I click the STATISTICS link, it just displayed all of my post...
Also, I wonder what's the right way when adding URL Channels:
just use the hubpages.com (as stated by the instruction) or every url of my hubs (read it in a hub from one of the hubbers here) ?
thanks for the answers...
The instructions are quite clear in the link you posted above. Wait till you get approved by Adsense and yes you will be able to check your earnings in the "overview" tab of your Adsense account.
If you have no prior internet marketing experience, you will have to learn a lot and write many good hubs to make money from HP.
im approved already, as i have been adding/deleting dead blogs (that's why i switch to hubpages)
last question tho'
Quoted Above
"Also, I wonder what's the right way when adding URL Channels:
just use the hubpages.com (as stated by the instruction) or every url of my hubs (read it in a hub from one of the hubbers here) ?"
So just "hubpages.com" is enough, not my profile URL or every URL of my hubs? Just wanna make sure...
I would say add both!
Add hubpages.com as a channel: This will track every penny you make of Adsense.
Also add individual hubs in channels to track them. Many hubbers who have a lot of hubs, only add specific ones in the channels as we only get limited URL channels.
EDIT: If you have added hubpages.com; you wouldn't need to add each and every hub to track total HP earnings. But its good to see what each hub is making.
Welcome Chrysoprasus and Ultimate is correct. I started not knowing much about HP but with lots of reading of others hubs, visiting the learning center and forums, I became familiar with how things work. Just remember to be patient, write what you know about and you will earn eventually. Good luck.
thanks for the warm welcome... i've already have pending write-ups (supposed to be submitted to constant-content and associatedcontent, but i got suspend at the same time in the same day)
so i switch here
I know you didn't ask for critique on your hubs, but might I suggest that in your hubs you have an introductory paragraph rather than jumping right into the article?
I believe it makes them more helpful and there is more change people will stick around and possibly click on your ads.
And about Adsense, I would keep writing and not wait to be approved.
yep, thanks for that "critique"... there's a lot of things to improve... been freelancing for sometime, and i get used to "direct" targeting on keywords that's why...
yep, stating to post now (and i don't need to wait to be approved because my adsense is already activated)

Is it true that recipe hubs donot help to earn much in HP? And I am with HP since the past two month and is it too early to think about earnings now?

I've joined hubpages last month because of all the words spreading around about it and since then I've created about 50 hubs all spread out over several accounts. Now I've targeted long tail keywords for my hubs with average CPC of 2$ and about 1000 hits per day. My hubs are ranking well and I'm...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...

After 7 months and 19 hubs including 5 Stellar and 9 exclusive titles my adsense account has disapproved. This is disappointing. I cannot find a way out to solve this issue. I have got an error of insufficient content.I don't know how to react to this issue. I have read on websites like trionode...

I have applied the adsense account through hubpages. However, I know that adsense won't approve an account so easily, I wonder if my hubs still earn ads revenue before adsense's approval?I have read the FAQ and it claimed that even with no adsense, writers can still earn through hubpage earning...
