In all seriousness, it feels really good. It also pushes you to create more hubs. It's the gateway drug to more hubs lol.....

C'mon MeGunner, you have 9 hubs.  1000 views is a lot for 9 hubs!  Pssst....the secret to more views is more hubs....lol  Technically, it's not, but you at least have more of a chance for one of them to take off.  smile

I've been writing on HP for 10 months and my views are slowly rising, I don't think there is a magic bullet.

Oh Sorry, wasn't sure, I guess I just let it slip by without noticing.

I mean it is great to have that many views, and many more but I was just trying to learn my way around and didn't pay much attention.  Read your breast cancer hub interesting.

I did want to ask, don't you think trauma to the breast can cause breast cancer. I mean like repeated trauma.

          1. MeGunner profile image61
MeGunnerposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Repeated trauma has not been directly linked with cancer, maybe Traumatic fat necrosis which is benign. And thank you for reading, for moving me closer!

Gunner, if you have signed up with Google Analytics, have you checked out the map there?  I found it really fun and fascinating as my views grew and I found I had readers all over the world.  Check it out!

And, well done with 1000 views.  It is the first of many milestones, I'm sure.

The next thousand will come quicker!   And soon you'll be telling us about 10,000!  Good job, hang in there, persistence pays.

MeGunner, I too write on a lot of medical topics from my professional experience.  My first hubs were on arthritis, ergonomics, NICU, breast cancer etc.  Checking back over my log, it looks like I hit about 2000 visits with about 20 hubs, about one month after publishing my first hub.  Starting out, most of our views are fellow hubbers.  We need to be found in the search engines to really be read.  Hubber lrohner made some helpful suggestions to me early on for tweaking the titles for my Arthritis hubs to increase traffic and AdSense.

I would suggest you post one of your hubs in the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum, and ask suggestions for increasing traffic.

    Good luck!

Wow CV, that's fantastic!  I don't have anything that routinely gets 100 visits a day. My hub on post-op management is currently averaging 200 views a month.
