Weird one this, but I published a hub 7 minutes ago at time of writing this post, yet when I viewed hub feed immediately afterwards, the most recent post on any hub was over 90 minutes ago. I left it a few minutes and checked again, yet by now, more bemusing still was the fact that there were comments etc listed as 2 minutes earlier on other people's hubs, followed by the 'over 90 minutes ago' entry I mentioned previously, but still no sign of my newly published hub!!! Is there a reason for this as it is not the first time I have had similar problems, although on previous occasions it has mainly been with comments I post on my own hubs in reply to others comments, that have not appeared on the hub feed afterwards?

Any explanation would be much appreciated smile

I'm afraid that I don't have an explanation right now for why your newly-published Hub didn't appear in your feed. It might be a bug, but I'm having trouble tracking it down. Your nail biting Hub is in the pool of potential feed stories, so it should be appearing in the feeds of some of your followers ... but I'm not sure why it didn't appear in yours. I will look into it a bit more this afternoon.

I can tell you why your comments aren't appearing in your feed. That's because you don't have the box next to "Comments you made" checked in your feed settings. If you'd like to see your own comments in your feed, then click on the "edit" button next to "Filters By Type," find the Comments section, and check the box next to "you made." Click the save button to save your changes.  Your changes will apply to future feed activity (but are not retroactive).

Thanks for this information Fawntia. It does seem odd as usually when I click on the "feed" link I do see my latest published hub i.e."mistyhorizon2003 published a new hub ............Title". Very odd as I don't know if anyone else saw it on the list either. It is not a personal feed I am looking at, it is the general one open to all to see.

I also appreciate the explanation as to why I am not seeing my own comments on feed. At least that I can alter. Thanks.

I think that the feed only show other's hubs; when you are logged in, it won't show to you your hub. That's my thinking, but I hardly eve look at feeds. I think it is kinda like the new hubs list.

Hi Csanad, no I don't think that is the case as usually I do see my newly published hubs in the feed list, and I am always logged in when I am on hubpages. Thanks for your thoughts though.

Oh well, I guess the moment has been missed now so any extra traffic I might have gained from people who don't usually follow me anyway has been lost. C'est la Vie!

I've noticed the same thing. Sometimes I show up in the feed and sometimes I don't. That doesn't bother me as much as the fact that a hub I published at least 8 hours ago is still not in my own "Latest Hubs" RSS feed. Didn't they used to update much more frequently than that?

I put RSS feeds on my pages and they aren't showing up any of my latest hubs either. They are still showing hubs from a few days ago that I published.
