I posted a request in the technology-smartphone forum but haven't gotten anywhere, so I thought I'd try here. I'm new to smartphones and I'm ready to upgrade (with Verizon). I'm trying to choose between the Droid Incredible by HTC, the Droid 2 by Motorola, or the Samsung Fascinate.
Does anyone have one of these of have any knowledge about them to help me decide which one??
For work I use a BlackBerry and my personal phone is a Motorola Droid with the slider keyboard (I'm too keyboard centric and didn't want to go with the vital keyboard). Both on are Verizon and both work really well. I've been having fun with the Droid and had no trouble getting up and running on it.
LR my brother loves reading and researching these things. We are with Verizon. He say all three are great phones, but he would go with the Motorola, because he is not ready to give up an actual keyboard for virtual only. I'm sure he'd be happy to share more of his research, but he's watching the underside of his eyelids on TV right now
Thanks, RM! I agree the Motorola one definitely has that advantage, I'm just not sure how much I'd use it. I don't text a whole lot and I'm thinking that after some time I'd probably get used to using the virtual keyboard. I have an Env3 right now and it's actually a pain to have to flip it open to use the keyboard. I was starting to lean toward the Samsung but I'm still utterly confused and a horrible decision maker!
BTW, I like the "watching the undersides of his eyelids on TV" - hilarious!
I have the Droid2...and I love it! My son has to show me things on it a little at a time:) My favorites about it are the ease with navigation, speaking text messages, and the camera is great Good to see you by the way, Holly
Thanks for the vote and great to see you, too, Holly. How are you doing?
I am ok, just getting nervous. Tuesday I have major surgery and I am going through the panic modes. They expect me to be on the table between 6 - 9 hours, and in the hospital 6-12 days. I am hoping for lesser table time and I would like to be home in 5 days or less
I will try to stay in touch with my Droid2 once the morphine is no longer needed God Bless and thanks for asking!
My thoughts and prayers will be with you, Holly!
My major surgery was 11 hours long and I was in the hostpital for 7 days afterwards - got out on my birthday, some birthday present!
Please keep us posted when you're able to...
Holy cow! 11 hour surgery?! Glad you made it out the other side!
(Brother) Vern (we call each other Vern, know what I mean?) suggested you might want to wait, as there are several new phones coming out in the next couple weeks.
You always make me laugh, Rose Mary! Yes, I know what you mean! Yes, 11 hours! I had the bilateral mastectomy with diep/tram flap reconstruction all at once. I always seem to opt for all at once instead of piece-meal. I did the same when I had bilateral fasciotomy on my shins (although the doctor advised against it) - I was afraid I wouldn't go back for the second. Man was that a mistake - I had to drag myself around on my butt for a couple of weeks, it was miserable!!
Back on topic...Well, I actually went to Costco yesterday for a laminator and came out with a Smartphone! I always knew that they had that kiosk in there but never paid much attention. I ended up getting the Samsung Fascinate - they didn't have the Incredible and I didn't care for how heavy the Droid 2 was. Also, it was $40 cheaper PLUS it came with a holster, headset, and car charger - the car charger is huge considering the battery life of these phones and the bonus package is probably another $45 value...
I have 30 days - actually 90 - to return the phone if I don't like it, so I'll keep my eyes open for whatever comes out in the next couple of weeks just in case it's better! So far, though, I'm liking the Fascinate - the phone is a whole lot more than what I need but I love it nonetheless!

I'm curious if anyone has tested by a month to month basis whether or not you make more with Adsense alone or with HP Ads?It's impossible to do a true split test, since each month will be different, but I'm curious to hear your results...Some of us won't get a lot of traffic so Adsense might be...

I'm just coming back after a several year hiatus, and one of the most exciting things that started when I was here was the HubChallenge. Originally, it was 30 hubs in 30 days. Now I see it's changed to either updating your hubs or 30 hubs in 60 days. I tried the original once, and I failed...

I know, I know, these kind of generic questions are asked too often. Believe me, I tried to look for an answer before posting it in here, but couldn't find one.So here it goes - Is there any one who is making more than $200 here? How much time did it take you to get there? Thank you in advance for...
