When I am in my room, I turn out the lights. If I want to be warm, I cover up. I leave a foot sticking out, so I don't get too warm. I like to lay on my back, but there's three other choices. If the room is really dark, I might crack the blinds so light can filter in from outside. Fresh air is required. Then, I close my eyes lightly. You'll never know unless you try. It takes just a few seconds, then the show begins. I'm not asleep, so I know it's not dreaming. A swirly light show begins. The longer you concentrate on not concentrating, it tends to fade if you concentrate on it. You are trying to quiet the storm within your consciousness. Go with the flow. You'll be amazed.

oh I thought you meant being angry hmm
    what is a bad mood?
can it be caused by someone else? or just happens??

If it's caused by someone else -usually in my case-
I find it to be hurt/anger/...something?

I keep to myself until I work it out.  I don't want my bad mood to spread to other people.  Concentrating on positive thoughts usually do the trick.

What gets me through a bad mood is

    Chocolate
    Candles
    Funny Movies

All the best things you need in life.

A bad mood is a way of telling you that you need to de-stress.

I'm almost always in a bad mood - but I fake it so well nobody knows!  I work as a caregiver so I have to be cheerful, can't be in a bad mood, have to cheer other people up, which puts me in a bad mood!  I seldom let it out, that's the problem.  So meditating, reading a good book, doing something just for me, or playing a computer game help.  Fresh air and a walk or some time in the garden usually help the most.  Then, there's watching the birds at the birdfeeder or watching a good comedy movie.  There's no real reason to be in a bad mood, but if I stop and think too much about it there is always a bad mood around somewhere.  Oh, and music - wonderful music sooths my soul!

I listen to uplifting music, go for a run or drink a cup of tea and sit in the sun for a little while.
