Slightly weird. I just had a look at my hubdefender account, and it shows up that I have duplicated content on one of my own hubpages.  That'll be the RSS in full working order.  Thankfully no stolen content as of yet though.xxx

OMG Detective Kickbutt's article has been shutdown!!!
All I'm getting is a big OOPS sign....
Hhhmmmm a legitimate article generating traffic but because it might be seen as negative gets axed.  But, duplicate stolen work is allowed to run over 100 days?  http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/confused/confused0023.gif

Says a lot about the site, don't U think...

    Wow.. Isn't that interesting? hmm
They are a bit late as if you Google the good detective's name.. he seems to have brought these guys a lot of hits!! Or Should I Say... ButtKicks? big_smile

I'm sure I got a copy of the article Before they slippered the slip! lol

I will have to put it in a hub rather than post it on here. hmm
Strictly to allow interested members of the public have the opportunity to judge for themselves!

I don't think they (Papatoto.Con) liked the idea of being asked every week for the next 2 years... How Much Did Your Site Earn as a Result of Using Illegal Documents For Pecuniary Advantage?

    Yeah very interesting...
Definitely waiting on your hub and will help to promote it to help generate traffic; authors need to know...

It really pissed me off to see that my article had been up so long and generated so much traffic away from my original hub. Competition is fierce enough without having your work stolen...

Yep... These scumbags Know What They Are Doing And Know what their members are doing!  They have been rewarded for their efforts... That in my view.. is arse-about-face!

Shut them Down... and force Google into NOT Supporting Fraudsters like Papatoto.Con! hmm

What goes around - comes around, people. There is a very effective way to handle papatoto.com. You all know how social networking sites work, Get twittering poking, emailing and share it with the world...

Let papatoto see their name spread all over the net and have it's name look like sh*t, and then people will stay the hell away from them. On the link on the "about us" part of the page

    http://papatoto.com/article/56264829851 … cle_Sites?

you will see the full text about stealing articles from Hubpages.com. If that isn't papatoto giving Hub Pages the FINGER, then I don't know what is.

papatoto is earning money from that adsense too, remember. This is the worst case of internet content theft I have ever seen.
What a shower of cheap b*stards over at papatoto.CONJOB.

We can do a lot more than sign a damn petition, that's for sure...

      bad idea,

      any publicity is good publicity.

This thread alone already ranks  for papatoto scam.

Doing a free promo campaign even if its intended as a smear campaign only helps the site.

PLus, with a little push, they have already removed the offenders content.

      http://www.google.com/search?q=is+papat … =firefox-a

You could write an article and rank for papatot.com and offer ethical alternatives such as hubpages - taking the traffic that may have ended up on their pages. but, a smear campaign would just get curious people to check out their site

Just to say that they stole one of mine too! I wrote to them and they took it off! the one that drove me to distraction was the site Gather. a girl stole my hub and it wasn't even relevant to the topic that was supposedly on there! she even had comments at the bottom saying what a good story it was, and there was her picture grinning away! argggghhh! I got it taken of though!
