Not my day. I'm unable to create a new hub.
Message I get is:
*Start Quote*
"We're sorry, there seems to be something very wrong with our servers. Please try again. If it still does not work, please contact technical support"
*End Quote*
I've tried multiple browsers and rebooting.
Paradigm -- I just tried creating a dummy hub and saving it and it worked just fine. Have you tried again?
Between:
A. No one else is complaining.
B. I did some hub hopping and found very recently published hubs.
C. Your post.
It is confirmed to me that it is something unique to me, and that the HP message is a red herring.
I'm going to give it one more shot...
Stayed tuned.
Hmmm. Much as I am a public spirited sort of person I was rather hoping that no new hubs could be published in order that my latest would get maximum hub hopping exposure. Rather than the rapid descent into the mythical ageing place where apparently they mature like some fine wine until someone has a taste in two hundred years and decides they have gone off.
Well…
Tried again.
Failed again.
Same HP error message again.
I’m going to my Control Panel and see what’s been nefariously installed recently…
Found some suspects, but I’ve just decided to h@ll with it for now. I'll wait and see if the problem reoccurs tomorrow.
Well… Well… It was the last Silverlight update that messed everything up for me. Disabled it and am back in business.

Why are some hubs included for hub hopping?I recently started this interesting activity here. When thousands of hubs are published daily, on what basis are hubs selected for hub hopping. It is mostly new hubbers, but I have seen hubs of established hubbers with more than 150 hubs. I never saw any...

I've been hopping some hubs this morning. I came across a few excellent ones and a few that sheer perturbed me.In at least 3 of them, the English was so terrible and the word choice so indecipherable that I highly suspect it to be stolen and spun content. But what do I know?I looked up one hub via...

I decided to give hub hopping a try. I was curious to see how good (or bad) the hubs were. I found some good hubs, others not so much. After about my second or third hop, I came across a hub that read alright for the first two or three paragraphs, and then quickly devolved into some kind of...

Have you ever come across any of your hubs while hub hopping?

I have been hub hopping lately and I am disgusted with the incoherent garbage that I am coming across - nothing but poorly translated articles of about 400 words, usually without even any formatting. I would say that more than half of the articles I randomly encounter are clearly nothing but spun...

After adding tags, I went to the next screen (learn more-Cancel Continue) and received a message. It said "Something went wrong. Please try again. And when you get a chance, you may want to report this issue in the HubPages forums".Is this a known problem? I have not used the Recipe...
