   Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney release their memoirs early next year.  What are they and other neoconservatives who pushed for the Iraq War in the Bush Administration saying now? Brookings Institution Senior Fellow Justin Vaisse explains that many have been lying low and backtracking from their earlier positions.  Vaisse’s new book is called “Neoconservatism: The Biography of A Movement.”

            Most people do not like war, yet on the other hand war gets good media ratings, its exciting entertainment; people go for blowing things up.
            
            To me, killing poor people is a mental illness and War is hell on Mother Earth.

            They care less about mankind. Their care is for the "big buck!"
            They will live lives that we can only dream of!
            They used their talents to "guild-the-lily" and line their coffins with 25 karat gold!
            Maybe they are/were smarter than the rest of us?
            The inherent nature of man is "predation."
            They are/were more, genetically, adept than we, in functioning in a "truly" human manner

      I can actually believe that Bush was suprised by the lack of WMDs in Iraq. Isn't he still suprised by the ending of "My Pet Goat" everytime he reads it?
      
      The people that are represented by Bush are still making money hand over fist with this war, the war on drugs and the escalating war on our southern border. Bush addressed arms dealers and manufacturers at a fund raiser and said something to the effect that, these were his people the haves and the have mores.
      
      As the educational levels in this country continue to drop you will see a corresponding increase in support for any and all forms of armed conflict. These people only make money when we are attacking someone and they are prepared to keep us for ever at war to protect their profits. America has been at war with some country for 90% of our existence. If world wide peace suddenly broke out they would go bankrupt and that's not about to happen. They have control of the top secret defense budget and can legally bill the country what ever they want., and we are not allowed to know the figure or the purpose. They hide all kinds of crap in this budget that has no over sight.
      
      The easiest way to control a population is to reduce the level of education of those being controlled. It's not hard to see how well it's working, IMO. Take Sarah Palin for example. How do supposedly intelligent people actually believe, that she is capable of leading the country. She wasn't even able to finish the first job she was elected to do. Why does anyone care about what she has to say? They care because they have been told to care by those they trust because they were told to trust them by people they trust based something as profound as the church they attend or Bill O Liely.

         No doubt dubya is as dumb as rock, but his daddy, was head of the CIA, is an oil baron, was pres of the USA. He was the power behind the war in Iraq!
         When dubya was elected to pres of the USA, he was the gov of one of the smallest state gov'ts in the USA. Texas!
         He didn't know world leaders...ah, but his daddy did!
         Bush jr, was just too dumb to do anything on his own.
         Daddy was his "guiding light."

         In my opinion, it didn't matter one way or the other whether Saddam Hussein had or didn't have "weapons of mass destruction" whatever that means+ (Bush stretched the definition to include alleged mobile biological weapons labs and poison gas). However, Saddam Hussein had no reason or intention to attack the U.S. let alone a means of delivering them. His alleged weapons program was designed to intimidate Iran. It had nothing to do with attacking the United States. The U.S. establishment and MSM media allowed the debate to be framed in terms of invade or not based only the issue of whether or not Iraq has WMD, exluding discussion of whether an invasion was the best way to deal with whatever WMD Iraq had and what it's intentions were if it had WMD.
         
         We lived for 60 years or so  with real nuclear threats (missiles, planes and submarines armed with hydrogen bombs) from USSR and China. Iraq under Saddam Hussein was a little piss ant country incapable of threatening any country outside of the Middle East. Despite this, without any public debate, Bush scrapped a major element of our foreign policy since world war two in favor of his "pre-emptive strike" policy. And our mainstream media and foreign policy establishment, for the most part, went along with this cockamamie action. And we were treated to front-age support for the invasion by the NY Times and an unending parade of neocon military "experts" on our nightly television fare. Phil Donohue was silenced by NBC for questioning the Iraq invasion.Sad chapter in our history.

      Blah, blah, blah, and no criticism for the Obama administration who for the most part has continued Bush's war policies, except for his asinine attempts to try terrorists in civilian courts!
      
      Wait until Obama pulls out of the middle east, lets all the terrorists out of gitmo, before he's swept from office and we get attacked again, inspite of being sexually molested at the airports!

         Obama didn't lie to the American people's face in order to sacrifice our American soldiers for absolutely NOTHING. Obama worked to get the soldiers OUT of Iraq, though the Pentagon will never allow them all to leave. Obama focused on targeting actual Al Queda operatives, rather than just throw soldiers in to die with an ill thought out strategy. The fact that you defend Bush is just saying that you care absolutely NOTHING about American lives but only your own ideology. It is sad and shameful.

      I have been banned for working in the USA, because I refuse GW Bush a War theme display. Now disallow all work permits because I have only one rule in life- Do not harm.
