That's kind of a twisted comment but maybe it's in my own translation that it comes across rather odd.  Jesus governs the Earth through the authority and power of God the Eternal Father.  There is no "ignoring" by Him.  He and the Father have given commands and made contracts with us.  Those contracts offer blessings in return for obedience to those commandments.  They are gods and are bound by those contracts.  It cannot be violated by Them.  The fruition of those blessings depend entirely upon us as mortals.  Those commandments are set forth to present our path toward exaltation and eternal increase of joy.  Only we can alter that course for us - not Them.

Since salvation is only through Jesus Christ, the One willingly anointed before the world was to be our Savior and Redeemer, all prayers are to be offered to the Eternal Father in the name of Jesus Christ.  That's the "order" of His house.  That's the chain of command for us to follow.  That's part of the contract we are to uphold.

Are we testing God?  We should be.  He has given us intelligence and we should have the courage to question all doctrine with boldness.  That means to test all His commandments and counsels.  How do we test them?  Through application of those commandments to our lives.  Just like science we are to apply those doctrines to our very being of conduct.  That is the only way to gain a testimony of their truthfulness - or not.  To test by application and to conclude.

Actually, Jay, people are not getting miracles in the name of Jesus Iesous). They are trying to "force" a form of their own "ruach", by evoking names and written words -as the priests of ba`al did long ago. To their advantage, Elijah had them wiped out.

The abusive twisting of proper unity with Creator is everywhere -from pulpit to scientific praetorian. They have missed the entire point of it all, from the Garden of Grace to the Grace of the Garden.

Prayer is unity with Creator --on Creators terms, in Creators place of peace not in man's momentary cry of self or his version of what he thinks Creators peace/presence is. If they would accept this simple truth, everything would change, for the better.

      James.

      Jesus said:

"Not everyone who says to me, ’Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ’Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, ’I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’" (Matthew 7:21-23).

This clearly proves that believing in him is not enough, but doing the will of God is the important thing.

JESUS gave us the prayer style to GOD.And teached us How to pray.
I Think that the prayer is enough to GOD with out using his name.

Jesus said, if you love Him you will obey His commands. Those commands are love God and love your neighbour as yourself. THe whole law is summed up thus. In your statement above, He is talking about those that don't follow these two commands.

Basic COMMANDMENTS of evey prophet was to worship 1 God alone.

The first commandment of the Jews is: "Thou shall not take any god except One God" [Deuteronomy 6:4].

Jesus said: "The Lord God, the Lord is One" [Mark 12:29].

Similarly, God says in the Quran "Your God is One God; there is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful" [Quran 2:163].

JESUS TOLD THAT TO CARRY YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME

I think that people are not ready to carry their own cross so they pray in the name of JESUS for to avoid the  cross which given by GOD to everybody.

Actually the miracle and healing power is depend up on the peoples faith in GOD not a pastor and spritual guys speech ....etc.
    Example
... jesus stopped walking and asked the crowed ..who touched me..Beause a lady got miracle at faith body touch of JESUS.

pastors and Guys are advertising and call people more and conducting meeting , prayer and highlighting the things and get credit.

I think JESUS will ignore these people

    pl Advice.
