   What can be done to make the child self aware,
   self aware economically, emotionally, academically, socially, culturally and most important spiritually? This is my research topic and I wish to take up each sub head specifically and help children know themselves better.

      Keep their sub-conscious clear of negativity. No trauma. Let them be children. Don't yell. listen to what they tell you,and believe every word. Answer their questions with eyes of wisdom. You are their god. Mommie and Daddy are the supreme beings in their world.

   It cannot be done in one mass but as the proverb states, one starfish beached at a time.  You must see the world as they do and within that frame present ideas that they can consider and open doors that they couldn't see before.

   One cannot teach a child self awareness! Self awareness comes from experience and growing. A child learns this through personal growth and experiencing things on his or her own.
   
   You can teach a child good morals and beliefs but it is up to the child to grow and understand. To do this it takes "trial and error", personal growth, and personal experiences.

      how do you say self awareness cannot be taught? Is not making the child think and take decisions, a process of self awareness? even making them answerable for their actions, the freedom of choice and the support and encouragement from parents is all a journey of self awareness. no?
      If the child or adult is perpetually confused about things, events emotions within and without, how and when are proposing any chance of self awareness in that individual?

   I say that it can't be done because the process of learning is and will always be a conscious act of will.  Without such an act on the part of the child, the parent can rave and rant all they want and still not make a dent.
