      Hmmm.... Something appears to be missing from your post. I think this link may be what you are looking for:

    Ahhh - I have replaced it, and will check now.
    Thank you very much!

    I wandered off to look at banners for my website - at the end, do you need to add anything between the ....></a>  I would think the user can just click on the banner without having to add any text?

      You cannot insert banners on HubPages, as they do not allow you to post the HTML code. Those are only for use on websites, blogs and other external sites that allow such code. In that case, you simply paste the code provided with the banners.

      So the link that I gave you is the proper method, if you want to create a signup link on your profile page or elsewhere on HubPages.

    If I understand your question, what you are looking for is the formula for creating a link for referrals for new signups so that you get credit for their add impressions... Yes? If so, here it is: Go to 'affiliates' at the bottom of the page, and set up an URL tracker. You can give it a custom name, or use the confusing one they give you... Then add it to this URL for the link, with your personal tracker in place of mine... You have to add an underscore in front of your tracker ID :
    <link snipped>
    That's all there is to it! Then, add this to all your hubs, advertisements, etc... as a good way to supplement your longterm revenue.

    The issue had already been resolved. Posting one's own URL tracker on the forum for purposes of self-promotion is spam. It has been reported as such, which is the second such instance within minutes.
