         That's a good question. There shouldn't be any shortage of candidates to coach a team that is already in a position to compete for the Super Bowl. I think most of the names being mentioned for the Cowboys job would be in the running.

               Yeah, I definitely think when Favre comes out of retirement next season he will be playing somewhere else.

      Great game if you are a Green Bay Packers fan. I don't think anyone expected Favre to be as good this season as he was in 2009 and when his balls aren't being caught by his receivers, they are being caught by another team. I watched it for 16 years.
      
      The Vikings  have the QB with the most turnovers and a RB prone to fumbling. While I do think Childress is a bad coach, it is hard to overcome turnovers and Minnesota has the worst differential in the league.

         Peterson hasn't fumbled the ball yet this season. It's pretty much all Favre this year with his 17 interceptions and 5 lost fumbles.

   I quit watching this garbage in the second quarter. If the team quits like this team has, then the fans should too. This is pathetic. Vikes should axe Childress the second he walks back into the locker room and then promote their defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, who has already been a head-coaching candidate for the last 2-3 years. He would take over on an interim basis like Jason Garrett has in Dallas. The thing is that this Vikings team's run may be over. They have Favre who will be done at the end of the season and a bunch of other key free-agents and who knows who we will be able to resign. Probably won't be able to re-sign Rice. Also remember that Childress was just given a contract extension over the summer. Once they fire him, they are going to owe him a lot of money. With that said, they probably will not want to spend the money necessary to bring in a big-named coach. All together, I think this team is toast and will begin its rebuilding process. I'd like to be able to get someone like Michael Vick in the offseason.

         Haha. Sorry Shari. Not much of a Jets fan here, but I am sure things will work out just fine for them. They seem to have a knack for winning close games, which is indicative of a team that will be primed for a Super Bowl run. I'm jealous right now. I'll feel better though once we make the coaching change!

         You'd have to think it's going to be either Vick or Kolb that will have to go after this season. I believe Vick is a free-agent (could be wrong) and I'm not sure the Eagles are going to cut Vick a huge paycheck considering the years they have invested in Kolb.

            Kolb is trade bait. He's played well enough to create interest with other teams, but if the Eagles had confidence in him as the future of the team, he woulda got his job back once he recovered from his injury. They didn't have any qualms about putting Vick back in there.
            
            Barring a return to his previous form, the Eagles will most likely resign Vick within the next month. Even if, for whatever reason, Vick doesn't want to resign they will franchise him.

               I would take either Kolb or Vick on the Vikings next season. The main reason I brought up Vick was because there were rumors of him coming to Minnesota at the start of last season. We were either going to take him or Favre. We happened to choose Favre.

   It's OFFICIAL! Childress is out; Vikes D-Coordinator Leslie Frazier is in as I speculated yesterday. The people of Minnesota are celebrating in the streets as if it was a Super Bowl parade.

   Chilly is no head coach material. He makes a better coordinator than a head coach. Now that he has this experience under his belt he can maybe update his resume and look for a decent offensive coordinator position.
