i dont have the talent in writing articles, and dont know how to even promote my site. i was thinking of outsourcing for my business. is this recommended?
Yes. Recommended. Oursourcing is the best way for you. Many outsource online sites provide professional resources. I have tried this. Good Luck.
You can learn marketing. You can learn to promote your site. If you want to make money at this, you're going to have to learn how to do it, even if you hire someone to write articles for you.
Writing articles can be a lot more difficult. You can pay others for it, but it can be costly. My going rate when I'm writing for others is about $15 for 400 to 500 words. That's typical, if you want someone with experience. It's what Demand Studios pays. You might be able to get someone to write for about $5 an article, but if you find someone that writes well at that rate, they'll probably move on once they find more lucrative places to write.
You might be good at making videos, but if you want to make money, you're going to have to find a way to monetize that talent. Find out how other people do it. I personally do not care for making videos, so I can't help you with that.
I outsource my Christmas shopping and wrapping.
Oh so you want everyone else to work the business for you?
Good Luck!!
Best you knit the things you know - If you have no talent writing then don't waste the effort!! Realistically people know within your opening sentence whether you know what you're talking about!
Have a Look at what your opening post here states!
Hardly a vote of confidence is it?
Sadly.... You're No Good At Spamming Either!! CYA
I know how to do videos and social media, but not really good on articles, this is the reason why, i've been considering outsourcing. maybe it's the smartest way of allowing more skilled people to do the work for me. anyway, thanks for your reply. i appreciate those words coming from a pro.
Those who really understand Internet marketing can and do outsource profitably. Others could end up wasting their money.
I say...if you do not know how to bake..buy a cake
If you do not know how to knit..buy a sweater from a store.
Likewise..if you are not good and Internet Marketing..please do not waste your time.
To get competitive rates, try guru.com
or enlist the help of an SEO company.
However be prepared to pay anything from $300 dollars a month to $2000 or more.
I write for others all the time. They'd rather spend their time promoting than writing. I love to write, and I enjoy the extra income, so it's a win-win situation for both parties.
I think it may be a good idea to hire someone to write for you. But it always helps to know what your doing, especially when it comes to promoting your website. If you think about it, if you know how to produce traffic - you have the ability to influence your profits and your traffic. Which seems to be much better than relying on someone else.
Good luck
Outsourcing is the best option, if money is not an issue for you. You can duplicate yourself many times over. Or like others mentioned, do what you are best at and outsource the rest.
If you outsource, I heard, first few weeks you need to work harder to train them. Once they catch on, you can relax and watch the work getting done.
Some sites offers less about $5 an article. But you must have to check the content yourself if they're grammatically correct.

I have a friend who tends to outsource a lot of his writing. I prefer writing my hubs myself. I'm just curious how many here actually outsource most of their hub writing? The last thread I found on this was 11 months old so I'm curious if things have changed.I figure poetry and fiction writers are...

What are the positive effects to the economy of outsourcing or offshoring jobs? The labor cost is one of the factor why companies or manufacturing industries outsource jobs and in general we think that this is a negative thing. Are there even positive effects to the economy if we outsource the jobs?
