My paypal account was hacked into and all of my money was stolen from it along with the money that was linked from my bank account. I'm very upset considering that Thanksgiving is only two days away. They said it will take 7 to 10 days for this to be resolved.

I decided to create a hub on my experience and also give info on how to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

In the hub links section, on the sidebar, another hub showed up where the comments are filled with ways to hack into paypal accounts. How is this allowed on Hubpages?

    Good question.

Was the focus on protecting yourself from these methods?  That could be useful.

The other hub is one paragraph long, it's number one on google for the search term " hacked paypal account ".

The comments are filled with detail information on how to hack into paypal accounts. It may not be the hubbers fault but I would never approve such comments. They're actually conversing on how great the advice is. There has to be a way to get them removed.

I have no money for at least 10 days because some jack wad stole all of my money! I am so pissed!

I am really shocked. How the hub has a score of 70 and how Google place in no.1 i don't know. And the author is a.........to allow those comments. I rated down the hub and flagged it with a message to HP.

You are so kind. I've had a paypal account for almost 5 years and never had one problem. This was a complete shock and to add insult to injury finding a hub filled with comments promoting paypal hacking was just sickening.

Just out of general paranoia, I would not go to that hub…

Who knows what successful hack crap is implanted in there.

I mean more secure sites than HP have had stuff implanted…neutral
