Will I Be Able To Function?

   I have many,many friends on hub pages here and I am in no shape to do a hub or message all personally.
   
   Last night, my wife of 30 years died. My heart is broke and I am lost. I love you Jonda.
   Jonda was only 49 years old and I believe her to be a saint.
   I know that she is running and playing with Jonathan!

      I don't know you, but your words touched me. I'm so very sorry for your loss. It's us, the ones who are left behind that are hurting, but our loved ones are doing much better. I'm sure you are right on what she is doing right now.

      Oh Froggy my heart is breaking for you. I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you. Think of it this way, God realized that Jonathan needed Granma and that is why she had to leave you.

      Time heals a lot of wounds, be strong.
      Give yourself some time to grieve then keep busy, it helps a lot. Life is not fair and 49 is not the number to leave. But it's not our choice. My brother died at 27.

   Speaking from experience, the hurt never goes away but it does get better and if you can make something positive come of this terrible loss it certainly helps - we started a scholarship in our son's name and good things have come of it.

    Froggy,
       I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Jonda and eventually you will be able to go on.Ask yourself what would Jonda want me to do ?   
        This poem was giving to me by my Grandma when I was dealing with the sudden death of my Grandfather.
    
                         I Am Not There
                  Do not stand at my grave and weep
                  I am not there -I do not not sleep
                  I am a thousand winds that blow
                  I am the diamond glints on snow
                  I m the sunlight on ripened grain
                  I am the gentle Autumns rain
    
                  When you awaken in the morning's rush

    I'm saddened to hear the news Froggy.  Thank you for letting us know.  I'm sure she'll be missed.  As someone said earlier, the hurt never goes away, but time does enable you to cope with the loss.  Be easy on yourself and take care of yourself.  Never be afraid to reach out for help from your friends and family.

    I am so sorry....I will not say that time heals all wounds because you loved her- truley and deeply. And the wound will remain. But the pain will lessen, know that.
    For now- grieve. Let yourself feel her loss as you need to do that for yourself.I pray for your strength now, I am so sorry for your loss. Know we are here for you-
