I think I posted a thread the other day about this. I believe I have about 90 dollars in adsense. Hopefully I break clear of payout this month.

Everyone one was right, it takes a months to reach payout, however, this month has been about 50% of the income LOL smile

Any new hubbers, hear this, you may make dollars the first few months, but will start to go high in digits, if you consistently write for a few months often.

Oh okay, I have no idea how to make money with Amazon lol

Then of course, you can not sign up with ebay anymore on hubpages

The reason why noobs do not make much money at first, is cause they do not have a previous source of content that they make money from.

Congratulations David, and you will find that the second payout will come along a lot faster! It seems to get on a roll

Yeah, hopefully, next month could potentially bring 50-100% more, but idk. Some of my hubs skyrocketed in traffic.

I think you are right - I made my first payout last month and will probably miss one this month.  I have already earned well over $50 this month though, so next month should again see a payout.

The second comes faster than the first.

I hope it works for you and you make it this month.  It would be heartbreaking to miss it by a few pennies!

Congrats David. Did you work hard for making any backlink for your hub or just publish the hub and leave it? I am interested to know how crucial is backlinking.

    1. David 470 profile image82
David 470posted 13 years agoin reply to this

I backlinked most, however, it was not a lot. Most of my hubs that do well, prob do not need backlinking, even though I may have gotten more traffic from backlinking.

I think backlinking is most crucial on topics that are hard to get decent page rank on.

      I ping too.

Congratulations! By the look of it it's going to take me just two months to reach my second payout (but that's because I missed my first by $0.30c in September and had to play catch up!)

Hopefully we'll be about even for our second  (although in AU it's $150 payout.)

I have been here 4 months and am sitting at the $40 mark in adsense....Cant wait for it to hit 100! Amazon I am right at 9 something every month, just cant seem to hit the 10.00. If I'm correct, the Amazon money restarts every month and if you miss it too bad????

Amazon also accumulates.. I never make much from them, but a few times per year it adds up to enough to get it.

I see someone just bought a Kindle for $7.56 to me.. That will help..

    Congrats David!

At my end I think I got smart-priced (which wears off in about a week from the time it's imposed if I read correctly). hmm

I'm not too sure what I should be doing to get more money with Adsense, but it's stories like yours that keep me motivated, so congrats again! smile
