    Hi,

The site that is not drawing good reviews is this one...

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Dare-I-dream-Fi … nds-Family

Well, what I mean is that, so far, it's just going down hill fast with the score.

    So, nobody likes fiction?
    The fiction is badly written?
It's written in an old fashioned way?
It's not to the readers' taste?
I made a bad job of the site?

    Help! smile

Personally, I think it's too much.

If I were you, I would un-publish this hub and create a single hub for each of your short stories.

Online readers have very short attention spans and prefer less than 1500 words at a time.

I think that if you make each of these stories as a hub you will find them getting increased traffic and likely scores.

        Hi,

Thanks. I understand how to make them each a hub. But how do you link the hubs together? smile

Under "my account" you click edit groups. You create a group and throw them all in there.

What that does it makes links of your other work at the bottom.

The Hubscore goes off of so many pictures and a bunch of other things. I wouldn't worry about it at all. The score will fluctuate a lot.

There is a lot to learn at this site. Getting views and hubscore has nothing the do with great content at the very beginning. You have only been here 5 days! Einstein could have wrote a Hubpage about everything he learned, published it here with bad keywords, etc. But luckily for him, it is quality, so people will read it, slowly, and link to it, opening up doors. However those doors can take time, if people like your work, they will link it.

It is hard to find people's fiction work, you have to make it available. Believe me, there are plenty of people that will love your work, you just need to find out how to get it out to them!

      livewithrichard brought a great point.

Make all of those short stories seperate hubs and group them together. The more hubs the better.

The two things you need to focus on is.

Making more and more stories(all with hub titles search engine friendly), do not stop and get a following, participate in the forums, etc. Read and comment on other people's fiction.

Realize if you want people to read your writings, you either need to link it everywhere, or use search engine terms that people actually use.

Good luck, I wish you the best and hope you do great at Hubpages!

I see you have been a member of hubpages for five days.  Like any community it takes a while to get known and read.  Some hubs just dont  get read much anyway-even the ones we thought would/should.

In my view I would make your fictional story in shorter chapter then link each chapter to the next in a seperate hub...

use the link tool in the top right hand side in the edit mode of your hub. Add the link capsule to your hub.  Paste the address (address bar) of you new hub into the link and save. The link  hub including the title at the bottom of your hub should appear at the bottom of the page.  You can then move this around the page  if you wish in edit mode.

This may sound like a foreign language at the moment until you play around and get used to it.
If you look at one of my hubs for instance you will see how I have placed other hubs on my page.
