OK, for most of you professional hubbers this will not be a big deal but....after 12 months I check this morning and I've made 91 cents.  The first money I've ever made on the web.  Ever.  I am totally pumped.  This 91 cents has renewed my faith in my fellow man.  I now have a reason to live.  I know some make hundreds and others thousands even but this 91 cents means a lot to me.  I figure you gotta start somewhere.

Very true Tobey, and congratulations. I used to count pennies in my adsense account. And I remember when I'd be thrilled to make 50 cents in a day. Then it was a dollar. Then it was keeping it above a dollar a day. Then it was $2, $3, $4, etc.

When I made my first Amazon sale I about flipped. It was a whole month before the 2nd one hit, but then they started coming fast.

Keep going and learning and be patient. If you build it, they will come.

I plan to keep on it.  I hope you're right.  Took 12 months to get my first sell but I believe it'll grow.  Very cool     smile

Actually as I clicked submit and waited for it to process I realized you've been here for a year and have published over 100 hubs. If making money with this is among your goals, you may want to stop writing for a while and do some learning about what works.

Of course, many writers aren't in it for the money. But if you are, sorry dude, but those stats totally suck.

Oh, I happen to be one of those that's not really concerned about the money.  If I was I'd be writing about entirely different topics.  I'm just having a blast with hubpages.  I'm just sorta tickled that I actually made almost a dollar without trying too hard.

Thanks.  Especially when you're not expecting to make a dime.  Sweet.
