Kudos to President Obama!

   I think it was great that the POTUS payed a surprise visit to troops in Afghanistan. I'm sure these men and women often feel that they perform a thankless job, and a special thanks from the prez had to be a morale-booster.

      Holy crap, some one said Obama was a decent commander in chief. The world will obviously end with in 15 minutes, you have been warned. This planet can not survive very many flashes of brilliance like this, I'm not a republican and I approved this message.

      it was nice to see. our troops sacrifice so much! I'm sure it meant a lot to see the Commander in Chief.
      during this past week, I read in the local paper about one of our local troops in Afghanistan who recently lost both legs.. he's 21 and was on his last deployment. my heart broke as I know the family and it really hit me hard.
      we need to bring those troops home!

      It was OK as an empty gesture,unfortunately Obama doesn't have the experience or the expertise or even the experts to help him with Afghanistan, Iraq or the Terrorists in general.
      
      Obama spent his time, money and government resources on health care, ignoring employment, and the military.
      
      Maybe if Obama and his congress focused in the first two years on the problems of the country that he campaigned on we might have some solutions, a better economy, lower unemployment, and maybe improvement on Afghanistan and Terrorism.
      
      Apparently, Obama is no better at finding the symbol of terrorism, Osama Bin Laden. Yet Hillary Clinton, the Secretary of State, Obama, and the Congress are going to give two billion dollars to Pakistan. Why?

   Too bad our president needs to go halfway around the globe to visit our troops.
   
   Just bring them home!
   
   Whenever I asked people why they were voting for Obama, the number one answer I got was, "He's gonna end the war!".

         More troops here, less troops there -- totally irrelevant! Bring them all home!
         
         Until we stop meddling in other countries affairs and we finally understand that a non-interventionist foreign policy means NOT intervening ANYWHERE, we will forever be engaged in perpetual war.
         
         The United States doesn't even know how to end a war anymore. Iraq will not be completely absent of U.S. military presence any time soon.
         
         While there may be the illusion of a decreased combative presence, rest assured that military operations and bases will continue for an indefinite amount of time. And the number of the private contractors are going to double after combat troops leave.
         
         What an unusually large role to play in a war that has "ended". And this is only Iraq we are talking about. We are still posted up in hundreds of countries around the world, maintaining an overseas empire in the midst of a financial crisis here at home.
         
         END IT.

            Too many cost plus contracts in effect for this war to end yet. There's still  plenty of war profiteering that needs finishing, dontcha know?
