I was thinking we had until December 21, but this person says it will be in Oct 21 (my birthday), but the May 21 is the beginning of the judgement period.

Do you have any more info on this?

I heard that the end of the world has been postponed due to lack of interest.

We will have to celebrate your birthday a day early smile

Unless, of course, celebrating your birthday a day early is the final part of the prophecy and destroys the entire universe... hmm

Who is filling your head with this nonsense about the world coming to an end? No man has any way of knowing or predicting what is on God's mind concerning the end times and the beginning of God's Judgement.

Many alarmists, people who simply like to cause trouble for others, by scaring them, have said that on December 20, 2012, 20,12, 2012  which is the day that the Myan Calendar is finished that something bad is supposed to happen, but all this is is people trying to scare other people. Lies Lies Lies!  It was something started by business people to try and drive customers into the stores to buy things for survival, so that the stores can make big money. This is all a trick to scare people and nothing more. Nothing bad is going to happen, not in this lifetime we are in.
Just like what happened in the year "2,000" when all the computers were supposed to crash and the world was to end then, nothing happened and here we are in 2010 ten years later, but people were so scared they were going to the stores buying extra of everything thinking they needed it to survive. Lies Lies Lies!

This is great news for the economy.  Hallmark has already begun distribution of Happy Deathday cards.

Only that it is obviously true.

I only wish it were a little sooner. Why do we always have to wait for this important stuff?

The Bible says that only God will know the exact time, so all this predicting is just man's craziness.

More than likely it's all Bull****, I say we will all be fine when the day comes! It's probably going to just be a time of change, possibly for the good. The flood that's 'predicted' could all be metaphorical and mean something else. Maybe the 'flood' could mean a wiping away of sin but nothing to do with water drowning us.

Or maybe it could be the start of a new world order were we all become controlled further. Well In my opinion the new world order has begun a long time ago...

Hopefully we will all be fine!

You might be on to something there? It could be the end of the world as we know the world to be and disappear like that mayan race. Possibly into a different dimension because we trashed our earth and it can no longer sustain life as we know life to be.

Funny how old people are always talking about "the end of the world." But when they are young, they are like, "hell yea lets party dude!"

      I'm over 65...I guess I'm old.
I never, NEVER! have said anything about the "end of the world."
At least not for about oh 4 - 5 billion more yrs.
The human species won't even end!
Hell, we'll be here for a long long time too...but in reduced numbers and very likely we'll be a great deal different than we are today.
The next 50 - 75 yrs hold the answer.
I can see no way we humans will not suffer a major population reducing calamity.
      Can you?

Hi, there are some who say we are living in a 13th Baktun or cycle,( the number 13 always gets a bad rep.) This cycle is said to always end in violent earth changing events, ie, earthquakes tsunami's, etc. But I'm sure that you have already studied this long before me my friend. How's the weather where you are?

Where are you? Somewhere where the "sun-don't-shine?"  smile:
This old spaceship Earth will engender many more
          "crew" members before
          she is vaporized.

A lot of people thought the world would end in 2000, and that all of our electronic devices would fail, and we would be sent back into the dark ages, with a possible accidental nuclear war. People panicked, and went on a buying spree, hording gasoline, water, and canned goods. They also purchased a lot of power generators, and lots of guns and ammo.

I know this, because I was a cashier at a department store, and I was witness to the mass stupidity. We even had people fighting over spam! People were really stupid, and the supermarket chains raked in the big bucks. They claim that the eve of 1999 was one of the biggest sale days in the companies history.

And, if you go back and check, there are countless dates of when the world would end, and nothing happened. Just like when Oral Roberts claimed if he didn't get $5,000,000.00 in donations to his church on this exact date, god would strike him dead. He didn't raise the money, and he was still alive the next day.

I think it's all very stupid. And, a money making scheme.

exactly....humans are waiting for world to end since eternity...what humans forget is that world was there without humans and can be there after humans are gone too...guess we give too much importance to singular species....

        Yep!
If 12 months represented the 4 billion yrs since life appeared on this planet, human life would have appeared in the last second of the last day of the month of December.

It might have been stupid, but whomever would have learned some very valuable lessons. Stupidity has its usefulness. It would have meant they would have to question their beliefs. Which I see as a good thing.

Don't know where you got your data from. Doesn't sound familiar. I wouldn't hold your breath, because Nostradamus, who was a Hebrew convert to Christianity claimed to see to the year three thousand, and he based his projections from bible scripture. At any rate, don't hold your breath. Even the Mayan Calendar has been "misread", so there is no out there, either. Here's something that may help though. Next time you wash dishes, throw your crystal ball in there. Windex helps, too! smilewink

The world is getting so drab and dull i would love to see it coming to an end.
i think death is very peaceful, you can point your middle finger to all the moral policing, society's expectations(yawn) and lecture and say F**k you all!
hell also seems a lot cooler(not talking about temperature:)) than hell.
since i want it so much i am pretty sure it's not coming to an end in a hurry.

Only the Creator- God Allah YHWH knows as to when the End of the World takes place; like He knows when he started creating it.But what we should concentrate is on doing good deeds and having truthful beliefs, so that we are rewarded in a pleasant way in the hereafter rather than to suffer for not doing what we could have done and was possible for us to do.
