   Just because (only because) sometimes these threads get long, I'd like to start part 2, if that's ok
   
   My love for you
   Is stronger now
   Than it ever was
   Before
   
   You take me places
   I'd never go
   And now I feel
   Reassured
   
   I dream of you and I
   on a picnic not in July
   on a beach somewhere exotic
   Drinking pina colas
   Not tonic

         Actually, when it comes to loving,
         I've been known to be attentive, 
         As my old father used to say to do something right,
         you have to take your sweet time,
         never leaving a lady needing,
         while leaving her craving for more.

   Someone's stretching the truth, so it seems.

   click click click.
   The gears go around
   and make me sick.
   
   Face the time
   oh yes oh yes
   Silence is unnerving
   just making a mess.
   
   But with a pretty wristband
   look at the bling.
   Golden memories
   seem to sing.
   
   No sense anyway
   but gotta go
   No time now.
   Its running low.
   
   So sing me a song
   verse by verse
   My watch makes sentences
   very terse.

   Shut up! I'll smash you into pieces,
   your clicking and whirring,
   it's my memory it fleeces,
   you're too close to hold,
   pain is what it releases,
   I want to rip you out,
   until this feeling ceases.
   
   (About a watch reminding someone about a lost friend - Apologies Ben Evans, your poem inspired me to write this one)

   Ugly kitty
   lying there with mouth ready to hiss
   Bring me back the kitty you were
   And stop being a bit**!!
   
   I'll give you a bath
   In really cold water
   You'll shudder and meow
   "What's the matter?"
   
   Oh kitty my kitty
   I have a new kitty
   And this one is nicer
   So go find Sean Ditty
   
   My kitty is nice
   and plays sorta sweet
   He's not the kind
   to attack your feet
   
   My friend's kitty
   is a vampire for sure
   Everytime I saw this kitty
   It bled me some more
   
   I stay away
   and I'm glad
   cause my real kitty
   is in my pad

    My wife had no inhibitions at all
    in selling my things at yard sale
    from the porch of my old house.
    It gave my beloved congregation the chance
    to have something which had belonged
    to me, in memoriam,
    she said.
    But that old steamer which was sold off
    to Henry, the pot pusher;
    did you know it contained the works of my lifetime
    and that he and my wife burned them in the fire pit
    as they sported together in my hammock
    that night in July?

    The water fall's spray fills the air
    The rainbow couldnt help it
    as the vapor and sun coalesce
    to bring color that fills
    the vista with completeness.
    
    Tampering causes a mixture
    that sometimes is so nice.
    Love, that never happened
    creates no pain
    as it pans into nothingness.
    
    Yet a colorful memory
    is always painted through experience.
    No matter the outcome.....
    It is not bleak and molds the heart
    for something better.
    
    I hear the roar of the water
    and look down.
    A bright reflection kisses my eye.
    I try to touch it.
    It is cold and refreshing.
    
    The water, while in no rush, goes down hill
    to the sea.

    A clear ring separates a
    contrived circle.
    The color endowed
    yet not aural
    is of life.
    
    A drop clear and pure
    is the end product of rain.
    It falls on the rock's slippery face
    and combines with others
    as they flow to the sea.
    
    The blue vastness
    meets a gray skyline
    while the saltiness
    is gained through mineral's grit.
    
    Magnificent and yet so calm
    is a peacefulness that can't be seen.

    So lets kick this forum along,
    making words rhyme like song.
    
    Scribe your words at will,
    show the others your skill.
    Prose darts from inked quill,
    inspiring a creative thrill.
    
    I try to squint my tired eyes,
    block my ears of your cries.
    Listen to my heavy sighs,
    as I question your very lies.
    
    You can do it, I know it's true,
    there is a poem inside of you,
    Post one below, give us a clue,
    show us all the creative you!

    What’s In Your Goody Drawer??
    
    A back massager with a charger
    A silver bullet or a string of beads
    Things that help fulfill your needs
    A thing of joy or a thing of pleasure
    A stress reliever or maybe a receiver
    Something to behold or something to hold
    Something you can not mention
    To give your stress a little attention
    To help you relieve all that tension
    The colors are bold, purple, red, green or gold
    The colors make it Oh so pretty to hold
    Is your goody drawer full and fun?
    Or does your goody drawer just hold one
    Shapes and sizes and styles may vary
    Is it something your mother would find scary?
    We all have our secrets, this is true
    I won’t tell yours, but hey what’s new
    Is it a secret only known to you
    Not for anyone else to view…………
