What's the best Business Card You Have Ever Been Given?

   The title is pretty self explanitory.  What is the best business card you have ever received?
   
   I was in a bar with Shawn Collins a few weeks back and this topic of conversation came up, he showed me his whish was a highly impressive stainless steel engraved afair.  I was to put it bluntly, impressed.
   
   However he told me that he felt he had been beat by the owner of a marketing company with razor in it's name, which gave him a business card shaped like a razor blade.
   
   I am still stuck on deciding whether steel or paper is best for business cards, but I have to admit a stainless steel one can be fairly impressive!

      Hey, Oli, I have some artist friends whose business cards are miniature pieces of art, but that was the intention to sell themselves as artists and designers. What feeling are you trying to trying to invoke as a writer/Internet marketer? And will steel or stainless steel do what you want to do. Unless all you want is the WOW factor

   I've seen one of the stainless cards...they are impressive.
   
   A girl I work with helped design cards for her husband.  His are done up to look like a playing card from a deck of cards, rounded corners, and back done up as well.  They were sharp.
   
   When I ran for political office in 1996, I ran for the position of Tax Assessor-Collector.  One of the responsibilities included automobile registration (license plates).   I designed campaign cards and yard signs that resembled license plates where my last name was the plate number and the date of the election went into the upper two right corners where the expiration for the plates used to go.  I got lots of comments about them.  It left no doubt about which office I was running for.

   Funny enough....I just ordered cards for myself from a company I had done business with about 20 years ago.  I was so dissapointed when they came in on Christmas eve.  They were horrible.  The split my address up in an unnatural way and italicized part of it as if it had some importance.  I've already contacted them about getting my money back and they have agreed.  They told me to discard them and I ceremoniously tore them all in half yesterday.  I ordered new ones from another company that should be here any day now.

   Some dude named Trump gave me his card. He was begging for my business. I finally had to stop him and said; "Don, I'll think about it." He skipped off like a gitty little girl.
