I would really suggest to add Like/Unlike feature on comments. As we have it for Answers, we can flag an answer up or down, similar thing can be done for comments.
Sometimes we really like comments posted by fellow hubbers, but posting a reply like "Good one" or "Thanks" or "I liked it" doesn't make sense to the on going discussion and also for lazy folks like me, it will a good value add.
I hope the person who has posted a comment would also appreciate it.
Just a suggestion... You can flag this up or down
Facebook has this feature and I love it. Being able to hit the "like" tab on people's articles, announcements or comments is cool. I think it is a great idea. You should suggest it to the Hub Pages Team and Managers. No harm in making a helpful suggestion. You could always put a note at the end of every hub, asking people to say whether they actually "like" your hub or not. Careful about asking what you wish for in the "not Liking" dept. LOL! It could backfire. But kudos for mentioning a great feature here.
Hey CG, good that you liked this idea. I am really not sure how to bring this into the notice of HP Team, I thought by posting it in this forum, it would be of some help. Any suggestions are most welcome...
Thanks for dropping by and liking the idea...!!
In the forums, it would be helpful to read the highest rated replies first. Time is critical and the forums are filled with great information but sorting through it is sometimes akin to a treasure hunt.
I don't think comments should be rated. People should not be rated on their opinion.
The FB feature for comments only is a "like" button--no "unlike" appears until after you hit "like." After that, you can "unlike" if you change your mind, but it simply reverts to showing the "like" option again, and does not cause any 'reating' to appear.
I think that's a good way to do it. "Like" is more or less equivalent to saying, "yeah--good one!" or "I agree!" It's not really a rating so much as a shortcut.
Peace

First, I want to say I think hubpages has made a lot of positive improvements to the comments features and has allowed hubbers to manage comments more easily now that we can approve and reply to all comments from our accounts page. The one change to this feature I would like to see is ensuring our...

I had no choice but to start a new thread about the same suggestion as the previous thread was closed for anymore comments before I could post my feedback upon the latest profile layout. It appears nice and quite user-friendly overall, but I must admit I won't be satisfied if my suggestion on the...

I like a great feature in "Crackberry", the Blackberry website for a cool ads feature. They have Google ads sponsored by Google appearing every 10 or so comments down a comments section. I won't add links here - but check it to see what they look like. Could that feature become a feature...

When we disable the further-comments-posting, the above message displays.Instead of:"This feature has been turned off by the author."How about:"This feature has been temporarily turned off by the author."The second message is subtly less harsh. And subliminally encourages the...

I still think comments should be comments, not discussions, that is the purpose of a forum. Maybe it would be a good idea that every author has a forum automatically made in a widget on there profile page and the topics are always the title of the Hub. That way you can discuss it and always edit...

I often intend to put a module either within my hub, or at the end, that might include some standard text/a link, e.g. that says "Copyright Me (Year) - Please do not copy and paste this article, but feel free to post a link using this url ....." or "Join Hubpages by clicking...
