Adsense - bad days & good days.

   What could be the cause of having extremely good days with adsense such as high Pay per click, high CTR, and etc....
   
   Then of course, you have the bad days. Very low CTR and or Pay per click....
   
   When I see bad days, it makes me feel like I need to start publishing 3+ hubs a day lol
   
   Do advertisers set up different ads, and perhaps pay significantly less for specific reasons unknown? Curious on this.....

   I am not sure but I see mostly bad days it seems.  Overall, this internet thing seems totally random at times.  When you come up with the magical answer, let me know.

   I find that just as my motivation is dwindling and I'm about ready to give up, I'll have a good few days or weeks which makes me realize that yes, whatever I'm doing really is working which motivates me again to continue. Then I won't see anything good happen for a while which makes me want to give up again, then suddenly out of nowhere I start doing well again... it's a cycle. For me, it's like losing weight.

      LOL, that's how I feel! I did manage to make payment 2 months in a row so I must be doing something right.
      
      I hate bad days though. It does make me feel like I did something wrong

   For me adsense bad days and good days are correlated. For example if  have a good day today I am bound to have a bad day the following day though the converse is not true. I always have 3-4 days in a row but never even 2 good days in a row.

   If I remember right, different ads with different cost per clicks do appear on hubs. Google is supposed to chose the highest ad bidder to place on your hub.  Not sure if that's completely right.
   Plus different days of the week/month are better for making money. Just like shoppers and restuarant goers tend to go all at around the same time.

   What are you all considering a good day? $5 $10 $20 $50 or $100 or more. I'm new here and do have some websites adsence and average about $12 a day. Best day was $30.

      I am referring to the potential of what you normally earn. For example, if someone consistently earns 10$/day, 20+ would be a good day.
      
      Plus a good day could be higher CTR, and PPC.
      
      PR (personal record) I guess you could day...

      I'm new also and still haven't signed up for adsense because I don't know how that works or how I'll get paid. How do they pay you, do they send you a check or what?

         If you live in the US you get a direct deposit once you have earned a minimum of $100.  If you're outside of the US you get paid by check once you earn a minimum of $100.

               Just in case you havent. You need to set up your Adsense account & fill in all the details-if you intend to stay around.  When I joined three or so years ago it was probably six months maybe longer before I set up the Adsense account...

   But Adsense gages clicks in real time.  Clicks according to topics that's currently popular.  Past performance is no indicator of future performance.  So what may be big $ clicks then might not be that way right now.  I never know what hubs will do well.  Just over New Year's Day I had one hub that was getting an amazing number of traffic and started off my adsense for a strong January but it was temporary. It all seems to be chance with a little rhyme and reason.
