New feature: Ability to create lists of followers

   On Twitter you can create lists of people that you are following and you can see the tweets of only those people. I wish we had the same thing on HubPages so that I can put the people I follow into lists. This can greatly increase my productivity if I can see hubs that I do not wish to miss easily as opposed to the other hubs that I can view when I have more time.
   
   The proposed feature allows me to
   
   1) put people that I am following into lists defined by myself, and
   2) view activity (questions / hubs published / etc) from only people in a particular list.

   I like that idea. It's impossible to keep up with everybody, but if we could differentiate, it would be very nice to be able to keep up with those people whose writings we're most interested in.
   
   As it stands now, I avoid all notifications because it's just too much. But I'd really like to be able to get notifications of my really super favorite favorites.

   At any rate, I mean we all know this feature is highly unlikely to happen since it wouldn't really be beneficial, I just don't like seeing people left hanging.
   
   But a thought that occurred to me is that I have 8 different HP accounts. I can always just use one of them. If I use the same avatar people will know it's me anyway.
   
   And it's not likely to happen, so the OP might consider the same.

   I think this last idea (PB's) is probably the most useful, but here's something I discovered last night:
   
   When I clicked on the Hubbers You Follow tab on the My Account page, my entire list of those I follow became available, along with their most recent Hubs and how long ago those Hubs were published.  I could scroll through it to see what I liked much more easily than I could read through my Hubtivity report. 
   
   I know that what I describe is still a big thing to do, especially when you follow a lot of Hubbers.  But for me it was exciting to see that there was an easier way (for me) to keep up with the articles by "my" Hubbers.

      Aficionado that's a great solution, for my needs anyway. I went to check that out and not only can you browse through under your account, but you can sort your followees by latest hubs published (click twice to see the very latest).
      
      I was able to quickly and easily see what new hubs had been published in the last few days and by who. That not only avoids the whole email notification thingies and all, but it will make it super easy even on multiple accounts.
      
      Thanks for pointing that out. I guess I never really even looked there before. I hope that solves the OP's issues as well. I know it will make me a much more effective follower, lol.

         Thanks for mentioning the double-click thingee!  I think I may have noticed both of these bits many months ago, but I had forgotten about it.  These things didn't mean so much to me back then, when everything was new and I wasn't following as many people.  I will definitely sort differently when I do this from now on.

   The customization features in the feed section allow you to pretty much do what you are asking.  I don't think it's necessary for HubPages to reinvent their own wheels.

      How exactly can I do that with the Feed? I see the same options as with hubtivity on the home page but I don't see how I see the hubs of a particular number of people (rather than all the people that I'm following).

   The proposed solution allows you to see recently published hubs by people that you follow but you can already see that on the home page. Also, if you are not active on HubPages for a few weeks then there is a huge backlog of hubs that you need to check. It would still be better if the HubPages were improved to shows the hubs from particular people. After all, it is 20% of the hubs that make 80% of the impact - the other hubs are (usually) interesting but they are not a "I must see this" type of hubs.
