What is the advantage or benefir of hub score

   I will like to know what the score has to offer me. I have seen many people with hub score as high as 87. Please enlighten me.

      The higher your hub page score the best your profile will be... If you reach 75+ score then all links you put in your hubpages will convert to do-follow links.  This is very beneficial as far as SEO point of view. Your hub page will be in ranking in Google and other search engines, which is definitely give you traffic.

         I disagree. That the links become do-follow does not benefit the ranking for HubPages. No, it benefits the ranking of the external websites that these links are pointing at.

         jamesroy... dont get confused between hubscore and hubberscore.  Below 75 becomes no follow on hubber score,  this has nothing to do with hubscore.  Hubscore doesnt become no follow.

            If a hub drops below 40, any outbound links from that hub will become no-follow.

   If a hub has a score below 40, all outbound links from that hub become no-follow. If the author score drops below 75, all of the hubbers' outbound links become no-follow. So you will want to stay above those numbers. Other than that, there is no direct impact on traffic or earnings, it is an internal vanity score without relevance for the search engines.

      - Write some quality hubs, 500 words or more with images, videos etc.
      - Avoid duplicate content by all means, as this is penalized (most typical reason for sub-75 author score)
      - Participate in the community (forum, questions and answers, comment on hubs)
      - Read the FAQs about "overly promotional," "duplicate content," and "substandard" - avoid coming into conflict with any of these rules.

   I have read somewhere that the value of a link from Hubpages is lesser than other sites such as Ezine Articles, would you say this is true?
   
   Also, what ratio and amount of external links / internal links ( for hubkarma ) would you recommend?
   
   As per the original question, easy, do things of value, be relevant and see your hubcore growing.

      I am certainly no SEO expert, things like "link juice" fall outside my area of knowledge.
      
      It is my impression that a link from an external site to one's hubs is more valuable than an internal link coming from within the hubpages.com domain.
      
      Hubkarma is all about outbound links from your hubs to those of others, as well as interlinking your own hubs. As per the previous paragraph, I wouldn't expect such internal links to carry much weight, so you might need a lot of them to match the value of a high-quality inbound link from an external site. I would basically see it as two separate things.
      
      Why then hubkarma at all? Perhaps because HubPages as a whole benefits in SEO terms from lots of interlinking, which is what they are trying to encourage.
