Hey guys i just optimized some of my hubs with more keywords. Does this mean i am likely to increase more traffic?
Yeh, definitely maybe..
But a sure step in the right direction, either way.
I think it does depend somewhat on how competitive those keywords are, but theoretically, yes, definitely!
You know, theoretically.
You did add the keywords into your content, right, such as text, subtitles, captions and such? And not just added the tags?
Good luck!
Keep learning and do all you can do is all any of us can do.
99 hubs! Let me be the first to congratulate you on your upcoming 100th!
Great job! Keep going!
Its taking me forever to reach 100 but im getting there....lol
thanks guys! Is webexperts a spammer or what? i am seeing the same post all the time. lol
A spammer and a jerk. He called me a "Sir!" :
I know I'm lookin' a little rough, but jeepers that was cold!
Likely from a different language background! Just use the report button for violations like that, ssaul. All that does is to call the post to the attention of the staff. It doesn't automatically get someone kicked off or out.
[Ooooppppssss - By "violations like that," I didn't actually mean that calling Pandoras Box "sir" was a violation. Lol. But it should be - right?
I feel very personally attacked.
But I'm sure the spammer police will get him anyway, and that's good enough for me.
Adding 'more keywords' to an article might not be so effective, each article sould really only have the focus of at most three major keywords (which can be expanded by long tailing, giving you the major keyword focus plus secondary keywords built in).
However just adding more and more different keywords to an article can dilute it's relevance.
Likewaise, just filling an article with your main keywords (article stuffing) is easy for Google to spot.
Instead try and include your keywords as naturally as possible as you write.
Also remmeber that Keyword density is but a small part of SEO ;p

I have notice that in some hubs, people bold their keywords in the beginning paragraph. And then they bold some more keywords throughout their hubs. Is this away to improve your hubs for google?

As mentioned in this thread: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/75200There are many spammers who still have thousands of hubs up, even if they are on probation. Obviously flagging an account doesn't work so for those of us who are still trying to help Hubpages in any way - adopt a SPAM account and...

It would be nice if we had the option to flag an entire profile, instead of just a single hub or post.

I wrote an article about the benefits of using cuss words. My problem is I don't know if I can submit it to Hubpages as it has some swear words in it. Do cuss words in an article automatically trigger violations or does the purpose of the article have footing to make them acceptable? I'm also not...

It seems when hub hopping that a lot of the spammy spun nonsense is provided by people who have no profile and no picture. Why not make a paragraph, minimum 50 words say, of profile writing compulsory? And a pic as well. I mean neither would be particularly hard for a new hubber to deal...
