The new year 2011 is just days away. What are you aiming to achieve from hubpages as a hubber in 2011.
Hi - I'm totally new at this - here are some of my goals
1. write 2 quality hubs a week, at least!
2. get my first payout from ad sense
3. get my first payout from konitra
4. get my first pay out from amazon.com
5. become an ebay affiliate
6. figure out if there is a site that you can view statistics on which topics people are clicking on most & write about those topics
7. build up a good residual income by the end of the year
My goals for 2011 are to write at least 150 quality hubs by the end of 2011, to have 6000 views a day at least and to hit 1,000,000 views by the end of april and to work more on my sales hubs to increase my amazon sales by at least 4 or 5 times what they are now.Overall though i am going to double my income to around the £300 a month!!
Yaa sure Sunforged. Let me speak about my targets first. Right now I am earning less than $50 a month from adsense. My target in 2011 is to post about 300 quality hubs to get my monthly adsense revenue upto $300/month and also work on improving my amazon earning.
My goals on Hubpages for 2011 are:
1. Reach the 100 hubs published milestone before my second
anniversary on Hubpages.
2. Increase my absense earnings to about $10 or more a day
before the end of 2011.
3. Write at least 2 to 3 high quality hubs per week.
4. Increase my pageview per day to at least 1000.
5. Hopefully get my first Amazon sale and more in 2011.
Great thread!
I would love to hit 200 up and published by this time next year, and a good number of them product hubs. With the ones I have up already it has made for a very merry christmas indeed, I can just imagine what it will be like next year! Funny, last year Christmas brought my first amazon sale and the motivation that gave me was amazing, this year the motivation is even more brilliant!
My goals are:
1) Getting my first payout from Google AdSense
2) Learning more about keyword research
3) Work towards a steady amount of money each month
Once I have achieved (3) I will gradually increase the amount that I desire to earn each month.
I think 'earn more' just about covers it!
I am looking to improve my traffic for Adsense though, So will be writing more knowledge based articles than sales articles in teh following 12 months!
I have some insane goals, but it's how I feel so here you go:
- Write a Hub Every Day
- Average 40 hits per hub every day
- Hit the 1 MM milestone
I like those goals - bigger goals make it easier to motivate people
Earn around $500/month. Still a long way to go But it's my goal anyway.
1) get at laest 1000 views a day
2) 100 clicks a day- (yah right- a girl can dream)
3) Larger Amazon sales
4) Become a respected and informative Hubber
My aim is to consistently get at least 500 hits per day at the end of 2011.
Just to write 1 hub a week. I would like to do more, but i know i won't have time with work etc. And maybe even get my first adsense payout... fingers crossed. Good luck all!
Write some hubs, make some money, don't get banned, and of course, achieve world peace!
Achieving world peace will probably be easier than not getting banned
You may be right, UW! Some of us seem to be talented in that field! Getting banned, that is! LOL!
1) Get 1000 views a day consistently
2) Reach 250 hubs
3) Get to 7% on Amazon
4) Make more money - aiming for $500 a month
I am hoping to write a hub that contains some researched information, some sensible product placement and less than fifteen swear words.
It will have a title that more than three people in the civilised world will want to search for and upon arriving they will actually like make a bit of EFFORT and try clicking on something for a change. Bastards.
I'm aiming to reach €100 a DAY over all my hubs. It's doable. Note I said euros not dollars, so that's about $130 thereabout a day. No harm in aiming high!
This is not just residual income for me, this is my only income and I've just been told I can't collect my old age pension for another five years - 13 years away - seeing they raised the age that women can retire at - even though I paid into the system for 35 years!
I need to live. So I'll be a busy bee writing away and we'll see what 2011 brings.
I'd like to reach my first Adsense payout.
Reach the 100 hubs published mark.
Improve my views per day to 150 at least.
I have a few aims for 2011:-
Reach 1 million views (I am almost at 50 000 so have a long way to go, it is possible though)
Earn $1000 a month from Hubpages (very doable as I am making a few hundred a month already)
Reach 8% commission level on Amazon (my best is 6.5%)
Reach $500 a month on Amazon sales (my best is this month, just over $200)
This is a really interesting thread and it is good to see some other hubbers targets!
Funny things is I have almost done goal number 3 this month and by the end of the month I am certain I will reach 7%! Maybe I should make it 7.5% but 321 items does not seem very achievable.
Would need 11 sales a day - possible but very hard to do every day.
I'm going to shoot for 1-2 hubs a day. I'd like to make more money, since I'm not really making much at all at the moment, but I think that's because I have too many informational hubs instead of sales hubs.
Writing at least 100 informative and well researched hub. I will try amazon this year.
write around 270 hubs...to make it to 500....well it would require lot of dedication and time investment on my part...
My goal in 2011 is modest because of my time crunch:
52 informational hubs
52 sales hubs
If I can do more, that would be awesome. Although writing 52 sales hubs is a lot easier.
well, that is really for ALL my internet business combined...
Hubpages, Cafepress, Zazzle, Amazon Turk, Amazon Associates, and of course, my porn site: "www.TheManySidesOfGreekOne.www"
I understand that your website The Many Sides of Greek One is under investigation by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as there have been many reports of web surfers being temporarily blinded. I myself think these reports are examples of miracles.
Find Greek One's water source and write a hub on it!
My goal for 2011 is to write 1 hub on Sunday and then spend the rest of the week back linking it hardcore. Going in for lots of traffic, we'll see what the New Year brings!
my goals are :
write more quality hubs with in depth keyword research
finally reach the 1 million mark in my main account
hope to have 3000 impression a day in google adsense. I average only 2,300/day right now
double my earnings
hey pretty how are you doing...2300 is huge...may u get 10k +....
2300 yes, sometimes it goes down, sometimes it is up.
I am good, thank you pisean, how about you?
m fine...so how is 2011 treating you?..for me it has been hectic 12 days...
hectic but not toxic?? 2011 for you. I am also busy in the afternoon.
To publisharticles and have more page views and score a top Google search place.
I'm wondering whether the title of this thread should be changed. We wouldn't want to have a bunch of liberals claim that the use of the word "target" would set someone off at HubPages.
The irresponsible use of the word target is violent rhetoric designed to inflame and cause vitriol to spew forth.
Did I use every word I'm supposed to?
Although hubbers have been inflamed and have caused vitriol without seeing the dreaded word "target" all along.
Confession is good for your soul, Flit! LOL!
Confession is good for your soul too Slinky!
Snakes have no souls, according to the religious right. You might have one, though I cannot say for sure.
I wasn't using it in the religious sense, but I can see how that would confuse you.
I am working to triple my AdSense income in 2011. I propose to do this by:
1. Publishing 3 Hubs per week on average (one during the week and one each on Sat and Sun)
2. Post 3 backlinks per day on average on AdSense revenue sharing link sites such as SheToldMe
I would hope that in the process of doing this work that I could triple my daily traffic at least and increase my total Hubs to over 320 and increasing followers to 1,000 in 2011.

Have you achieved your hub goals for the year and have you set any for the new year?My goal was to achieve 10 hubs by end of this year, which I surpassed. For next year, I have set a monthly goal of 5 hubs per month, totaling to 60 hubs by the end of the year. Hope I make it. What are your Targets?

After 3 months of active work my earnings through Amazon was only 3.70$. Although the conversion was 20% - 13 sales, with 64 clicks (goods is very cheap - the cost of 1, 99$).Me interests, whether there are people who earn here by means of Amazon (at least 100 dollars a month)?

I thought I'd open a thread here for anyone who wants to share how well, or how bad, their sales and progress on making money on the web has been this year. For me, I've been working 100% off the web for around 4 years or so. I must say this year has been the best. In fact I've made more working off...

I will try in short because I explored whole day about HubPages and I still need some confirmation how to proceed on best way if possible? Before 2 years I lost AdSense because of stupid reasons like wrong keywords (I know, I was rookie) and since it was impossible for me to check all blogs + posts...

Can you remember what it was like when you first started to write Hubs? Before you read this rambly post - please know that I am not a newbie trying to suck you dry for information without doing any of the work myself. What I'm interested in is how you got through the first few months? How did you...
