We all know that apple make great user products and once you own one you want them all. But after own at least six of apples products I can step back and say they are only as good as you think. If you can understand what I'm saying or if you own anything that belongs to the apple family you'll know. For example the iPod touch. When it first came out people went made for it but it was nothing special if you think about it. Apple have found a way to make you think there is nothing better than apple. Don't get me wrong I love apple but I am losing faith in them as they bring out more and more products.

While the whole Apple culture is quite strange and cult-like, they really do make some fantastic products.

While I don't have a MacBook, they are pretty much some of the best built laptops out there. I do have an iPhone and iPad, and they are both great pieces of hardware. Sure, it's a bit locked down in terms of your usage being restricted to only apps that Apple approves, but a quick jailbreak takes care of that.

I think Apple will continue to prosper until someone else comes along and starts to innovate.

yes what you had said is exactly correct only in some cases i mean regarding some products like ipod but apple netbooks are very very good.

Personally I think Apple products are all about novelty. People purchase them and they are interesting for a while, but they soon get boring. That's why people look to jailbreaking and other similar modifications.

In this apartment there are a few ipods, a macbook and an Imac pc, and a darn iPhone. We ought to have shares in the firm by mow. But I am not getting an ipad. (Seeing as I did a Hub on it.) It is cool to use, and very awesome and wonderfully designed, but limited in what it does, and it connects to hardly anything. Will wait to see what the 2nd version does. Will it have Flash added next time round?

Yes, I like Apple, they pay attention to more details than most other makers - and their software is uber cool! Only they foresaw iTunes.

    Hello,

I am an Apple consumer since last 6 years and recently I bought one I -phone of Apple. This is very good and has many good and new features.

You can not compare Apple products with any other company. Apple has no comparison.

    Thank You

I really dont get why people like apple so much.. i own few of their products and they arent any better than other non-apple stuff. all it is, is overpriced items that are laking any kind of design.

I do not own Apple products but it seems as though the majority of the people are picture oriented and apple has an easy graphical interface.

Apple has established a name over the past few years, nothing more.  It's coming to the point were people are buying new apple products just because they are new apple products.  Not to mention their customer service is horrible.

Apple used to be the leader in good products, latelly they have been slacking though, look at the iPhone 4 antenna problems (partly AT&Ts problem) but should have been looked at anyway. and the recent macbook airs that were just released having problems with their displays flickering and motherboards cracking.... what happened to the excellent research Apple used to have? it seems its all marketing now.

I do own a mac mini, ipad, and iphone. Windows 7 is still king for me though, Snow leopard has its shortcomings but its not a war with me.

Below the surface, the level of fear and anxiety that Apple triggers is unprecedented, I think.

I have worked as a computer techician and been in retail for several years. First off there quality is good, but not better than Toshiba and Asus. They are Way overpriced. The Macbook is twice the price of the Toshiba and Asus with the same hardware. I have seen a lot more Ipods and Ipod Touches come back for repair than any other brand MP3 player. In fact, more than them all combined. The computers are no longer virus proof. A lot less functional than a PC. Very limited in software, and almost impossible to upgrade. As for the Ipad, all the PC manufactures are coming out with Tablets this year, so I am sure I know what is going to happen there. More functionality...But Apple products are easy to use. Unfortunately, now they are more of a status symbol now then a good product.
