*sings*  There's a Staaarman waiting in the sky...He'd like to come and meet us, but he thinks he'd blow our minds...There's a Starman waiting in the sky; he's told us not to blow it cuz he knows it's all worthwhile...He TOLD me let the children use it, let the children lose it, let all the children boogie!!

    I LOVE that song big_smile

The " Ziggy Stardust " album was voted one of the best of all time. And owning it myself I gotta agree. The song is called " Starman " by know great coincidence

      Thanks for posting that link.
I used to sing space Oddity in karaoke and this version sounds more like my version LOL
Think I prefer his later version!

I hadn't heard this version, but it's similar to a demo version on (I think) a Deram Anthology that also has a song called "Rubber Band" and one that begins "Mountains of Lhasa are *something/feeling?* the rain." Music from the late 60s, if I remember correctly.

ETA: The song is called  "Silly Boy Blue" another one of my favs...but hadn't heard it in a long time. Wow...memories.

      Thanks for sharing this. smile
