I love to read other hubs. I am not a writer but also like to hub about things i am passionate about or am curious about.
To be honest i am quite messy at times and forget where i put things and my laptop is no exception. So, by using hubs i have a great place for storing my little stories.
My hubs contain lots of gooooey photos but that is linked to my work and these are reality for me. Writing these hubs help me cope with the natural stress that is attached to working with very sick and sometimes dying patients. When you receive feedback it makes it all worth while.
The hubs that get most attention are the ones that are written from the heart.
This is also true for me, i will more than likely be attracted to hubbers that write about personal experiences rather than those that are obviously trying different topics just to make money.
I'm sorry to say but without depth in a hub it will never inspire me to follow that person.
It is so nice to say that i follow lots of you!

There are so many good articles to read on here :-) I've not been a member long so am still getting used to it all but I initially came across a few hubbers who's articles I enjoyed so am following them.  I also like to hop to see what/who is out there.

What are gooooooey photos? I have to take a look now!!

That is good, at least you find consolation in writing here. Some people however write to earn money so their stuff are not geared towards personal hubs. In the internet world out there, people like to find information as well.

Oh please don't get me wrong I love reading those who write to earn, they are without a doubt leagues above me when it comes to flow and formulation. I am just an extra sucker when it is a true story..........I love zippy movies too.

Don't get me wrong as well, sorry about that. I just want to say that it is good that you found consolation in writing and that others who are more inclined to earn write informational hubs but not kind of personal stuff. I enjoy personal stuff as well, they lift me when needed.

Typical isn't it  we see we write on the spur of the moment in fear of insulting. It' s really funny though. Thank you again for caring to write ,you have certainly won yourself a new fan.

I admire all  people in the medical field. I will read your hubs. You seem like a nice person that isn't fanatical.

Oh dear! So sorry about that but I did warn you.........lol ! Wicked woman. But really I want to spread the word about this treatment as it both saves lives and used far too seldom. So I appeal to all health workers and the many who have relatives with wounds, small or large, burns, infections ad diabetes foot. They don't have to suffer.

Well I write because I love to tell stories, create poetry, make people smile or laugh, and because it so therapeutic and cathartic. It helps me relax and chase frustrations away. And lately it is the only type of hobby I can afford to have, time wise.
What makes me follow a hubber? Well of course his writing. if it is funny, inspiring, smart, thought-provoking and so on. sometimes I have decided to follow someone also from answers I have read they have given to specific questions. Sharpmindedness and wit can be shown also through a short answer.

Hi Aisla-What a wonderful post!  Even though money is an attractive part of this site, writing what's in your heart is my favorite aspect of this community.
You sound like quite an asset to HubPages, and if you don't mind me saying so, I'd say you're a writer, too! smile
