Why are a bunch of my hubs now showing up as duplicates?

They are all original hubs written by me, in my own words drawn from research from a variety of different places.

I didn't post any of them anywhere else... I don't get it?

They all just popped up today, so unless someone else is taking my stuff and posting it elsewhere I don't know what's up.

It also appears that because the automatic thing on HubPages things they're duplicate that they're disabling my Amazon ads...

Is this happening to anyone else?  And can someone check manually to see if anyone has copied my content and posted it elsewhere and that's why these things are coming up?

It appears that it's a new feature on your account.. you can see where they think the duplicate content is and someone definitely copied me straight up!  Trying to get them to take it down now.

The other ones are to other hubs that don't appear to be similar at all.
      Hopefully they are taken down

That's so frustrating. I haven't experienced that yet (knock on wood) but I know I'd be freaking out if it did.

Just watch your account and if you see the red "c" at the end of any of your hubs then they think it's copied.

So far the system looks very flawed.  Only the one was copied and he took the pictures and text from my hub and posted it on his.

Can someone from HubPages go through these and look at what I'm seeing?  None of my hubs are copied other than the one... and HE copied me!

Bendo, have you looked at the Copied Hubs section under My Account? (top left). In there it lists the exact urls of who has copied your hubs with a section for filing DMCA notices if need be.

Yeah I just noticed that after I had posted this..

I checked all the links and only one was actually a duplicate and I already sent them a DMCA notice.

The rest are hubs and when I read them nothing appears to be duplicate.  I emailed HubPages about this and told them to check them manually.

So I guess I'll have to wait and see.

I got one paragraph from one hub of yours and it has a duplicate in facebook - I think it is also your account. Want An Easy Way To Get A Workout? Use An Online Personal Trainer! this is the paragraph = A lot of us really have no idea what works or how to construct our own workout program so a personal trainer would obviously be the better route.

    You made a link at facebook. http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=2 … opic=13482

Oh.. no that's allowed.. you're allowed to use 2 or 3 sentences from your hub as an introduction.

I was told this by someone who works for HubPages.  That's not even one of the so called copied ones.

I think it flags them if anyone has a similar title and so on.

But I mean.. I wrote one about weight loss fads and somehow it thinks someone's hub talking about dark green poop is duplicate content? Haha
