      I don't think it has anything to do with you schoolgirl more so it has more to do with people not spending as much time in forums as they used to.  I noticed that people are starting to come into forums more and more to either get advice on how to improve hubs or gain more traffic.  Or they either just come here to debate topics on politics and religious stuff.  Rarely do people come on here just to have fun. I wouldn't feel bad about it, as I've been getting ignored a lot lately too.  However, I think the best way to handle it is not to take it personal.  Besides, I'm sure people probably didn't see the thread, so that might be why they didn't respond.  After all, there are like thousands upon thousands of forums here, so it's hard to keep up.  hell, i even have some that i opened up that i didn't even remember until recently.    Anyways, I'm sure it's fine.  Just don't worry about it too much.

   I find that my posts/threads come and go with responses.  Don't take it personal, and keep posting.  People might just be busy or otherwise not able to respond.

   I've felt that way at times too, and wondered if I've offended someone unintentionally or stepped on toes I didn't see there. Then I realize that you can't please all the people all the time. Just do right by yourself and don't set out to offend and that's the best you can do.
   
   I'd say keep on posting. Some days the responses are better than others
