   Wow. I love the new additions.  It's nice to be able to see all the feedback of all my hubs in one place. It makes it easy to analyze. I also noticed that the traffic sources are now available on one page as well, not sure when you added it but glad to find it. I will certainly find a use for the maps capsule as well.  Thanks to all the HP team for all the wonderful additions.

   As I already stated in a previous reply to this topic, I do like the new map capsule.
   
   HOWever, I've since seen a hub in which the writer seemed to already have very advanced knowledge of using this feature.
   
   My goodness--she had all kinds of map 'pins,' each with its own letter, and a key/legend below indicating what all the 'pinned' locations were!  WOW!  Impressive!  I don't see how to do that.
   
   I got tangled up in the difference between 'pin' and 'just go there,' and when I tried to add a 'pin,' it brought up a specific street address and showed someone's house!!  Oh, dear!  Since my hub was about my ancestor, John Howland, of the Mayflower Pilgrims, all I wanted was a generic 'pin' to Plymouth, MA.  I had to leave it go at the satellite view to avoid pin-pointing someone's home!
   
   Any clues for this neophyte?

      If your map pinpointed a specific address then you must have entered that into the search area on the map.
      Just put in Plymouth MA and then the map will give you two options - "go there" or "pin this location" (or similar words).  Select "pin this location" and it will give you the pin on the map.  You can do this on the road map without pinpointing the address. 
      After that step, if you want to add another location (say to show the proximity to another place) to the same map, repeat the process.

   in order to get specific with a pin and a location address, you enter a specific location or name and choose 'pin it'.
   then it will automatically pin it with the address underneath the capsule.
   
   but I'm still learning, as I had issues posting a number of locations on one capsule.
   
   update, I just tried it again and had no problems with the white screen. yeah!

    Is there a way to pinpoint a particular spot on a map without entering an address or location?  I'm not seeing how, if it's possible...if it's not, it would be a useful addition to this great feature.

    Oh I noticed the new Map and tried it in my Hub -awesome!
    
    Now readers can see New Zealand is more than a pinhead on the Globe..
