   I think that the Adsense TOS prevents me from being too specific about this (and I have my own selfish reasons for not being specific, too), but when I logged into Adsense right now, I saw a figure that was easily 4 times what I'd expect to see at this time of day on a Wednesday and double what I'd normally expect for the whole day.
   
   Tracing it down in Analytics, I found that 3/4's of it was from one source and the amount truly was far in excess of anything I have every seen before.  It astonishes me that the advertiser would need to bid that much - even 25% of that would have seemed high to me!
   
   Yet apparently they did need to do that, so there it is. There are some amazingly high paying ads out there in areas you might never think of.

      I've been shocked at some of the avg cpc's I've come across. I've seen them well into the hundreds of dollars and beyond, and in niches that I would never have believed were worth it. Unfortunately, they've all been extremely competitive, too, so I'm still awaiting my first giant click lol.

      Interesting to know this. I know I have seen some subject clicks can be as high as $18 and some 10 cents. I have read a great adsense book and it shed light on some of the reasons why.

   Your post made me check my earnings-- and, yes, they were suddenly up by about 2.5 X my usual daily average. Since I don't use Analytics I have no idea why. No complaints.

   I can't figure out how to track the source of clicks on Analytics.
   
   Ever since i used up all my 200 channels (i have another account), i cant easily track (or find) which hub gets the visitor that clicks.

      No, actually it doesn't make my day.
      
      Things like this are unusual.  I'd much rather find that CTR or average RPM had gone up across several dozen pages, because that kind of thing can repeat.  A one time thing is probably a one time thing.
      
      Do you have Adsense linked to Analytics?

            Then you should be able to see which pages earned what.  Are you sure it is linked?

                  Okay i checked. It seems i don't have it linked, so i've done it using your screen shot as a guide.
                  
                  I couldn't find the "Applied cost data" and "Adsense data" but i have a tick under status, so i guess it's linked now.

   I've gotten one click so far out of the 3 weeks I've been here, 17 hubs I've published, and 404 views I've had. And that one click was from me when trying to close the page. >.<

   Travis, I can relate. Been here three weeks with almost 900 views and have 0 Adsense income.  Sigh... At least I enjoy the writing!
