    Hi all,

if I use "Share it" function on my Hubs and post my Hubs to Digg and all the other sites like Digg, is that considered by Digg and those sites as spamming? Can I do it?

    Thanks!

    Use it in moderation.

I'd not Digg more than one a day. Even every few days.

It is important to us that HubPages authors don't abuse these social bookmarking services.  They are a great resource when used responsibly, but a few abusers could ruin them for everyone (and they could easily blacklist all future HubPages submissions).

    My recommendations would be:

    -  only submit URLs to bookmarking sites that you actually use (meaning you actively participate in the community they have developed).

    - only submit URLs that you genuinely think are worthy

    - follow all the terms and conditions of the site you are submitting to

I agree with darkside, don't submit too often to digg unless you are submitting good content from a lot of other sites as well.

Also, help out your fellow hubbers by digging their stories (which hopefully, they've already submitted).

    Eg:

My digg username is maddieruud.  Friend me and I'll digg ya wink

Don't over submit to the social bookmarking sites or it can be considered Spam.

I notice that hubpages can no longer be submitted to netscape.com as they have been flagged as spam.

    New (inaccurate) definitions:

    1. Spam  n. Anything I see more than once that I don't want to read about.

    2. Troll  n.   Anyone I disagree with.

    3. Spamming Troll   n.   Anyone who disagrees with me and who replies more than twice in a message board thread.

    Spam is:

    1. Bulk AND
    2. Off-topic AND
    3. Unsolicited

Off-topic by itself is...  off-topic.  It is not spam.
Bulk by itself is...  a lot.  It is not spam.
Unsolicited by itself is...  introducing yourself.  It is not spam.

I wrote all this knowing it would have absolutely NO effect WHATSOEVER, but well, there you go.    big_smile  big_smile  neutral  smile  cool big_smile

The post above was written by a troll.

If he makes another one below my post then he's also a spammer.

    LOL.

The thing is, if you're just submitting loads of content without participating anywhere else on the site, you will (quite reasonably) be flagged as spam.  Just make sure you're digging other articles (shameless plug: like mine) as well, and it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm happy to digg for other people.  Lemme know, yo.
