Has anyone noticed that in the google adsense analytic reports for adsense content that for the last 24 hours or so it hasn't matched up with the daily amount? I know that sometimes there is a lag but it usually only lasts for a couple of hours at most.
Glad you mentioned this. For me,it was a low paying day yesterday, but the amounts in the Adsense account and in GA do not match.
Usually what happens is that my Adsense account shows revenue earned, and the GA page does not reflect that, probably due to user browser cookies being disabled. But here the opposite is true -- no money showing in the Adsense account, but money showed as being earned in GA.
Is this what you mean?
Yea, it's unusual. I wonder what is going on. I'm glad there is at least one other person out there who is experiencing the same thing.
Brie,
Did you actually sse ANY money in your Adsense account, or is it just the fact that only part of the money showed up in the account?
In the Google AdSense Reports Overview there was noted a good amount while in the analytics (where you go to see which hub was clicked on to make the amount)...very little, no where near the amount in the reports.
My Analytics is ALWAYS lower than what I have actually earned.
Analytics doesn't always get a chance to record the things it wants to record. Sometimes people just come and go too quickly and when the "go" is through an ad, Analytics doesn't know it happened.
Yep, my situation is still the opposite of what you are talking about, PCUnix. That is, my GA shows actual clicks and money made, while Adsense account does not. I can only assume that Adsense figured out the two clicks were invalid -- but that information hasn't been updated in GA, and that's something I haven't seen before. In effect, the GA is showing MORE money.
The thing that tends to make my GA lower than Adsense is the fact that 1) other sites like SheToldMe are not tracked in GA with my ID, and 2) Adsense from HupPages referral trackers are not tracked by my GA ID (they are actually a cut from HubPages' 40% of impressions)
Ok, so I'm also on SheToldMe, so if I made money from that it wouldn't show up in GA? But it would in my reports?
It would show up in the Adsense totals, and if you have a URL channel for "shetoldme.com" it would also show there. But never in GA.
Thanks a bunch, I'm down a whole new rabbit trail now!
Interesting points to note down. One more thing, is it fine or safe to link our adsense a/c with shetoldme?
I haven't had an issue with doing so, though some might argue that creating backlinks at any revenue sharing site can leave a "footprint" that could lessen the effectiveness of the link (i.e. Google can tell by the Adsense ID that the author of a page is also the author of the backlink, therefore the link isn't "organic" and so is not as high-quality).
But I don't know whether such a "footprint" has ever been proven to actually exist...

I just noticed that I don't get reports on my Adsense clicks in my adsense account based on individual sites. I added my subdomain as a URL channel under My Ads. What do I need to do in order to get reports as to how many clicks I receive on my hubs? I'm not sure whether the clicks are from my hubs...

How do I know which of my hubs are bringing in the money from adsense?
by Teri Silver 4 years ago
Since 2010, I've been accumulating pennies in my Google Adsense account, waiting for the day I'd hit the $100 pay threshold. I checked it a couple of weeks ago, it was at $94 and change. Today, all the numbers are GONE!!! I see no evidence that it's been added to my HubPages ads...

I've applied 3 times and I'm still not accepted. I really like hubpages and I don't want to switch to another platform. I put a ton of effort into my hubs and really hope someone can help me out. Any suggestions? Someone I can call?

So I've been a Hubpage and Squidoo writer for the past 5 years. Recently, my 185 Squidoo hubs were transferred over to Hubpages and to start earning money, I applied for the Google adsense program about 2 weeks ago. It appears that my account was approved for a couple days and then I...
