   Well I haven't received my invitation yet. I'm sure this is a simple oversight.  I think I will buy a whole new outfit.

   Royal wedding dresses are traditionally made of a certain type of silk
   so I expect they are busy working on the threads for the fabric of it even as I type this.
   
   
   Opps, quick edit just 'Googled' it and the last British silk farm closed in 2004 so another tradition bites the dust.

   I'm more than certain Kate's dress will be Made in Britain.
   
   I've already informed Buckingham Palace that I won't be able to make it to the wedding, because I have to work on that day. So, I won't be wearing anything special.

   They did ask me to make the sandwiches and brew the tea for when they return to the palace. However, I told them straight that I was too busy writing hubs.

   Kate could have Honiton Lace used for part of the dress as that was used on Princess Diana's wedding dress. The royals have used Honiton lace since Queen Victoria's era.
   
   I think Crimplene might be a bit of a problem with the static that builds up on synthetics, no point in shocking everyone on your wedding day.

      My wife is from Paris and would love Kate to appear in a French creation !! - Not that would happen of course...
      
      Although, she did help me a lot with the Hub about the rumours about that dress...

      They're trying to do this wedding economically, and Crimplene is an option, and British.
      
      Honiton lace is also out of the question. As you see from the photo, they've already begun work removing net curtains from the Palace, which will be remodelled as Kate's veil and train.

   I think Kate will find it hard to resist the pressure to boost the British fashion industry by wearing only British fashion in the future.
   
   If this wedding is like previous royal weddings there will be competition to get copies of the wedding dress for sale on the 'High Streets' by the next day.

      Young couples usually start off with a smaller house and work their way up over the years. Not sure I'd like to live on my mother's doorstep, though.

   The former tenant does n't seem to happy about being evicted either looks like he is marching off in a right mood.
   
   Your right it is a bit too close to the in-laws residence and the corgis barking might be unpleasant first thing in the morning.

    I forgot, the Queen's William's Grandmother. Yes, and she likes to walk the corgis very early in the morning.
    
    That former tenant does look in a bit of a huff, now you mention it.
    
    Apparently, Kate will be carrying a bouquet of Welsh daffodils on the day, if they arrive on time by Inter-Flora.
