First let me introduce myself, my name is Karin...The subject of my hubpage is a little corny but there are so many things I wonder about, this is just what came to mind tonight...I'd like to know if I'm on the right track, if you think there's more I should add, suggestions are always good...Also I put a link to my zazzle store and blog on my hubpage and I'm not sure is that allowed here?

Hey ravko - welcome to HubPages smile

You're hub - good first effort and here's the but ... grammar and spelling. We all make mistakes when writing hubs, it's easy to miss a spelling mistake or to mess the flow up with a badly placed comma, full stop etc.

One of the best pieces of advice I can offer is that you self-edit before you publish. Sometimes you will still miss something but you're more likely to spot things this way.

I am presuming you'd like to earn extra money as you have Amazon capsules placed within your hub. That being the case - if you don't know what SEO is or what it means, check out the http://learningcenter.hubpages.com/

It's a fantastic resource for new hubbers - all the do's and don't's, how to's and so on. The info you'll find there is relevant to both Hubpages and maximizing income.

Text wise - a little short for me, I rarely write anything under 800 words. Tags - you don't have enough but checking out the Learning Center will help you learn what they are, what they do and why you should make the best use of them.

Otherwise it's fairly well laid out, and interesting. I'd write more about the history, the most popular screwdriver etc - and use a sales pitch to sell the current most popular types, plus an appropriate Amazon capsule.

Your links - two is fine but neither are particularly relevant to the topic - so they may get removed. I reckon your best best is to sort out your profile - tell your readers a little about you, who you are, what you do, then add your links to your profile page.

Hope all that wasn't too devastating. For the record - my first hub was truly appalling smile

Thanks a million for all the advice, I set up my profile 1st thing after reading your post and removed the links from my hubpage, all suggestions and advice are helpful no matter how big or small they are - so again thanks a million...I did set up my amazon and adsense a few years ago but never did anything with them till now as I added my acc #'s in the appropriate places, I did that before I started writing my screwdriver hubpage, i have another one in the making and have been working on it for a few days - not screwdrivers tho, lol...It's time for me to head to bed it's getting closer to 3am here now, so again let me send you a huge thank-you it was great meeting you...

I agree with FD... but would add.

Aim to write about 1200 words on this article ... because... You have the opportunity to really engage your readers in a fun (light hearted) way here, while delivering some good info.

Ask yourself.... from the reader's perspective how good it is layout, info, history wise etc. Would you enjoy reading it if you found it on the net?

Remember... this is Not A Hub written for people in life that you know personally - it is to be presented 200,000,000 - most you don't know.... Write all your work for that group - Always!

This left me wondering how the name 'screw' came about and how that relevance blended with the tools that you feature!

Overall, Not a Bad Effort at all.. well done! smile

I Didn't find it corny at all..
