   Hi hubbers, I have a quick question. Which is the best way to get more traffic? To promote(signatures, blogs, forums, etc..) your hubs that you have already completed around the net, or to keep writing more hubs? Thanks for your response.

   Keep on writing develops your reputation, style and reader audience .. promoting raises awareness and increases clicks. Whichever you choose is up to you. hope that helps.

   Ktoo, Thanks for your response. I know in the long term I will like to do both, but as I am on limited time right now. I am looking for the most productive way to increase my traffic in the shortest amount of time, without buying it Thank you for your quick response.

   if you have an existing presence in other forums and online communities, the quickest way would be to insert your link into your sig and share your links in every thread that is even a little bit relevant.
   
   Creating blog that does a quick summary/teaser of your hubs and then links to the full article is helpful especially since you can submit the blog to to top blog lists and get quick rankings.
   
   Those are quick ways to get traffic

   it depends on what's your current strength, if you already have a good number of hubs or posts on your blog, then its worth your time generating traffic for them. the more hubs or posts you have the more encouraged vistors are to come again. Your aim is to sustain you visitor - to make them coming for more and more - you cant do that if you have just a few hubs or posts - they will become 'one off' visitors.
   
   More hubs and posts will surely build your reputation as well, which in the long run will bring you traffic.
   
   I personally see more hubs and posts as the first step. After you have at least 15 hubs and posts - which will allow you to sustain your visitors for them to come again, you can spend more time on generating traffic and writing one or two hubs or posts per week. i hope this helps

   NanaYaw123 Thank you for your response. Why do you feel 15 is such a magic number. If you have 3 or 4 good hubs and the rest kind of so-so hubs. Do you think it would be better to SEO the good ones and push more traffic to those, than to write more so-so hubs hoping you might hit a good topic that traffic would be interested in?

   there is no magic number, most of your organic traffic will always be one time visitors unless you happen to cover one niche particularly well.
   
   Perhaps if your profile name was a keyword and you chose to promote your hub profile page this could be relevant. (maybe)
   
   As far as promotion goes you should treat each hub as a unique page to be marketed and promoted.
   
   Using a mirror blog is a great promotion tool, and is very quickly done

    Thanks Sunforged. I agree with your tips. I was thinking the same thing as treating each page individually. That is why I love hubbing vs. blogging. On a blog, you can only concentrate on 1 topic heavily, on hub pages I can choose a different topic each day if I want. Thanks Sunforged for confirming my thoughts.
