pain after spinal cord injury PLEASE HELPPPPP

   my fiancee has a spinal cord injury after car accident. His injury at the level C4 C5 he is in a lot of pain that the heaviest narcotics don't help. I was wondering if anybody out there knows any herbal or any medication that would help him relive his pain at least for few hours a day. I really appreciate your suggestions. Thank you very Much

   There is unlikely to be any herbal remedies that will help, and you have to be careful anyway because they can interact with the other drugs he's taking.
   
   However, you could try reflexology or acupuncture.  Most of his pain is coming from pressure on the nerves, and both reflexology and acupuncture act on the nerves.
   
   I had a neck injury between C4 and C5 and was in a collar for over a year.  I was told nothing would help my pain except surgery. 
   
   I tried acupuncture but it didn't help me.  Not expecting much, I tried reflexology as a last resort.  The morning after my first treatment, I was able to move my head without pain for the first time in years.

      It is true  that reflexology helps  in alleviating pain for it  relaxes the nervous system and aids detoxification of the body

   I have had nerve impingement pain at L5 Si for many years. I learnt some gentle stretching exercises that have helped me over the years. It is called Feldencrise I am sorry I do not remember how to spell it. It is very gentle and can be done in bed.

   It's Feldenkrais and it can be helpful - worth a try too.

   i had awful back pain for a numbere of years and visited an oesteopath (perhaps called chiropracter in US) since I have had this treatment my back has been great and I dont rely on any pain killers. They acted to reduce the inflamation in my back by using heat, ice and massage. It worked for me

   spinal cord injury is  a danger injuries which may lead to paralysis ,the patient on this condition can not move on his own except being supported by some body, the pain is so obvious, for you to have been to get a solution to that condition is awesome. i belive the pain will not occur again.
