Beyond the tips offered by some of the great pages here - ex. Mark Knowles and TerryGI, I was wondering what some people's most effective use of the social networking sites were. I have posted a note about my hubs to twitter and facebook, but don't want to be obnoxious posting it repeatedly. I don't really use many other social sites.

So what has worked for you? I've read about the effects of other backlink-building areas here, but didn't see anything on this social part. Was there some other software/program besides Socialmonkee (TerryGI wrote an article on that) that you found most effective? Have any stats to share?

Thanks LJ, I also included in that hubpage how we can all build everyone up to the free platinum upgrade if anyone was interested. It works by referring 12 people you are upgraded from free to platinum status.

I thought by placing the next persons referral link in the hubpage until they made their 12 referrals and got a free upgrade was a good way of submitting to 100 sites 3 times a day.

I already have another person's referral links in the hubpage and when they make 12 referrals I will put in the next persons. At this stage I do not have a next person so I am looking for a new referral link soon.

When you get 12 referrals you get a free upgrade to post 3 times a day to 100 social bookmarking sites. Any more then 12 is of no value to you.

Are you allowing other Hubbers who want to get a free upgrade to put their referral link on your profile page?

I just wrote a hub on this. I'll be glad to spread the signups once I reach 12. Read my hub here: http://hubpages.com/hub/25-Totally-Free … -Your-Hubs

Is it possible to edit a forum post and remove a link? Just realized I couldn't put that link there.
