Been on HubPages for 5 weeks and haven't had this happen before. Traffic is down on every hub! Down to 0!! Any help would be appreciated.

I've reviewed your hubs, as listed below:

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Shopping-for-Ch … n-a-Budget

    a) More content.
    b) More keywords/tags- You have 4 tags. You can have 9-15 keywords/tags for any article up to 1500 words. If your article goes over 1500 words, then you can have up to 40 keywords/tags.
    c) The format/layout of your hub should have more text capsules, so as to add more adsense ad spaces, for more earnings revenue opportunities. You have one text capsule in your hub, which has forced your adsense ads down further into your hub. By using more text capsules, the ads placement will change, use your "preview" button to review where your ads are placed.

This is a repeat of the advice above.

The above hub, I don't see anything wrong. A day without views is going to happen from time to time on some hubs.

    I hope that helped. smile

Thank you for help. I will make the changes. Still learning I suppose, although from what I have read, the learning doesn't stop here. Thanks again!

I looked at Gerber baby bottles.

The url is for Gerber baby bottles which was maybe what you intended to write about, then nipped over to Amazon to realise they only had 1 or 2 products.

You then wrote about best baby bottles and changed the title, giving you lots of product choices.

You are not optimised for either.

What I would do if I was you, is write a new hub with the words best baby bottles in the url and title.

I didn't look but if someone already has that exact url, just add another couple of words into it to be original.

Copy/paste the entire contents of your first hub over, and write new text for 'Gerber baby bottles'. There might not be many products, so write about about what is so good about them and throw a few another Gerber products into the hub.

Gerber baby bottles is a good paying keyword for adsense although it doesn't have many searches.

Best baby bottles has quite a few searches but not so good for adsense.

    Have both smile

Thank you very much for your help. I'm going to make some changes and follow all of your advice. Didn't mean to panic I've just never had a day in 5 weeks with 0 views, especially since yesterday was my highest viewed day. Either way thank you so much!!!

Where are your views coming from? Usually after a hub is published it will get quite a few "internal" views. Then you'll have a lull for a few weeks before it gets picked up by search engines. It can take 6-9 months for a hub to start getting good traffic and earnings.

Some of my views come from personal experience, friends experiences, etc. Research I've done, either via books, internet, etc. Why do you ask? That's good to know about the 6-9 mths. Thanks!

WryLilt was referring to pageviews, not to opinions.

Sorry that I bit!  Thanks for the explanation.  I guess that's what I get for becoming overly dependent on emoticons to give a clue to the slant of someone's words!  hmm  smile

You guys are funny and yes I guess I should have put some emoticons! LOL! WryLit was right most are internal views, only a few from google thus far. I hope I didn't offend anyone as it wasn't my intention. Thanks again for all of the help everyone! This forum is so great. Heck Hubpages is great! Have a great day!
