    Ezine is one of the best article directories. Not to say that there is no junk there. But compared to others they shine. And they clearly worry about their Google ratings. I think this move will benefit the good writers.

    The point is "how do they know what to fix"?
    They already have 2 humans review every article.
    Why did they fare so badly when they have quality content - much worse than eHOW.
    Has their site been specifically targeted by Google or have they lost out because of change in the secret 'formula'?
    What if all they do does not make any difference?
    This is the fundamental problem - we don't know what works with Google.
    In a sense it does not matter to Google - some other sites with adsense will take their position ad the $$$ will still roll in.

    Has anyone been keeping up with this? They have made another two announcements today on their blog http://blog.ezinearticles.com/ , but it is clear that they are soon going to take down a LOT of articles.

    "We’ve started to take action that may ultimately lead to thousands of deleted articles that fall below reader expectations. We welcome your feedback and comments."
