I understand that self-promotion is not permitted, but I would welcome comments either positive or negative with respect to the sentiments contained within.

I couldn't believe it when I saw that someone I had flagged for dup content appeared the forums tonight!

        Sorry OT.

I don't know about you guys but I am starting to feel quite optimistic again - traffic and earnings still down - but I'm getting a nice feeling about the future.

Great team here, and I don't just mean staff. Off to hop.

Yep your right, on this occassion it wasn't to draw personal attention but attention to us all as a community. Thanks for the blog post guys, appreciate it, and glad that it could raise a smile from the Hubpages team in which has undoubtedly been a tiring few days for you all smile

Just read your reference hub, but what was the point of presenting it here as well?  Clearly, you are highly successful with hubpages, and I enjoyed your hub.

Not sure if you read the same Hub as everybody else, or how you found it, but my success had nothing to do with the message that I was trying to convey.

I wanted people to read it, quite simply.

I would say that the point of presenting it here was that it was a hub for hubbers, not for search engines - and it pertains directly to what has been happening to all of us since Thursday.
Posting it here brings it to us in the here and now when we should be reading it....not next week or next month when the goalposts have maybe moved again.

I thought the hub was hopeful...perhaps even cautiously optimistic for the future outcome, because we make a great team.

      Go Hubpages!

Yep, certainly no personal interest in writing this Hubpage, just purely a product of passion and belief smile

Then perhaps you should disable ads?

I have nothing to say to that which wouldn't get me banned.

Then I have misunderstood that "no personal interest" part. Sorry.

No wrong doing. In fact, that's your prerogative. I think my quote speaks for itself.

I know you weren't looking for a pat on the back from us, but this Hub really meant a lot to me, personally, as it echoes the feelings I have towards our awesome, diverse community.  I've passed it on to the rest of the team and retweeted it from my personal account.

Thanks for putting a smile on my face. smile
