The equivalent of a wolf and a bear negotiating on how many of the farmer's sheep to eat.
Collective bargaining is a sham in terms of public employees. It's a manager and a mob, negotiating how spending someone else's money.
It's the people's money, and collective bargaining removes their voice in how it is spent.
Unions are organized against the employer.
For you liberals that means us.
We are the employer.
You might be the employer Jim but your employees allow you to exist by creating wealth for both you and a living for them by selling their skills and time. A Century of bargaining with Unions allows employees and the employers to negotiable a mutually agreed agreement to the terms & conditions of working at a workplace.
I have yet to see government "create" wealth except by stealing it from someone.
Rather, the unlimited "wealth" of the government is used to fatten the union members by robbing more from the taxpayers.
Except your argument is flawed by the fact that everyone is in some way a taxpayer. Whether they pay sales tax, stamp duty, payroll tax, death duties you name it everyone pays tax.
Before the capitalists got a hold of them, we had quite a few state owned industries making mega amounts of money.

I believe it is time to toss the Unions from our govt. and maybe even the private sector. they have served their purpose and have become a hinderance and a drain on our economy. They have spat in the face of all those Americans who are right to work workers, and are nothing more, and have been...
