As we all know, there are eBooks all along on the web. I read people making money out of while others don't.

Anyone has experience with eBook? Can you earn money through it?

Can you earn money through eBook? The answer is YES.

You need to write an eBook on some topic people are searching for.
[not the topic you like/you think people like, but the topic people are searching for - big difference]

You need to have a website with well written landing page (may be you can hire a copywriter to do that, if you are not good at copywriting - one that engages people as soon as they visit your eBook landing page).

Last, but most important thing: your strategy to drive traffic to the website.
Even if you have the best eBook and best landing page, if you don't have people visiting your website, you have no business.

As you can see, making money through eBook involves more than just writing an eBook on a topic you like.

But nicregi, if you do not own your own website, you could always put the eBooks up on eBay. I myself use eBay quite often and I see eBooks on there all the time.

I earn about $150 a month from selling my own e-books and $75 from selling other peoples.

In my experience, it is retrurning visitors, not traffic waves, who buy e-books.  That may not be true fot the "Get rich quick" kind, but it is for what I sell.

The only people who make money with ebooks are the people selling them.

I generally advise people to go out and buy a normal book instead, where facts are checked and editors ensure the information inside is factual, relevant and worthwhileI am signed up to a program which gives me resale ebooks, and every single one I have looked at has been next to worthless.

I am not saying that all ebooks are bad, take for instance PCUnix's ebooks, they are probably targetted and factual towards his particular area of expertise.

However the majority of ebooks out there really contain nothing more than non-researched drivel, especially the ones focussed on making money online.

There are lots of types of ebook and different models for selling them.  I write fiction ebooks sold through and epublisher and yes, make okay money from them.  Normally low four figures per book.

I've put my fiction series to kindle but I'm moving slowly.

Fear Chronicles: The Stranger has only sold a few copies as a kindle download, but I found out that was because I had it marked to high.

Dollar kindle downloads is where the money is I guess. I'm going to find out soon.

I have mixed feelings about ebooks.  Many are self-published, and the quality of self-publishing is very low, which in itself impacts on the poor public perception of ebooks.

On the other hand, with spiralling traditional publishing costs, ebooks will more than likely be the way that all books come to be published eventually.

Many professional writers use ebooks successfully as a hook for their "proper" (ie more traditional, printed) products.

Yes you can make money by creating and marketing your own Ebook. Just be prepared to write a killer landing page and put at least 2k a week into promoting it with adwords.
If your book is good and you get heaps of wonderful testimonials you will make a couple of grand a week if you get the adwords campaign right. (Good luck with that!)

The key to it is in the testing. Split test or you won't get your ads good enough unless you are a marketing genius. Also split test your landing page. If your Ebook isn't great, you will not make any real money with it long term.

Thanks for the feedback that is usually what helps me to decide if I like to take on another aspect. I really am open to ebook growth to boost my stock. As long as it generates income, with the novel Before I knew the me I am. I figure it will always generate income so I am open to if the publisher likes it.

Before I knew the me I am there were many aspects positive that led me to the work. I really was pushed to do out of a long time desire so I will always have that drive in mind for my self.  For I believe that inwardly if you are not motivated by that inner inspiration to , you want keep doing. My orginal helpers that kept me inspired with my writing and finishing my work was what kept me through to complete the job.  I would like to thank both sgts. that gave me the inspiration to start.
