What after the Google algo changes?

   The Google algo changes has hit several online writers badly. Hubpages is a authority site and will bounce back and its just a matter of time. What lessons has this Google update taught you? What have you done to avoid being hit as badly if something like this happens again say 6 months from now.

         That's a good one, Maddie. I am sure that its just a matter of time reclaims its deserved place in search engine rankings. What Google fails to realize is that there are very few sites like hubpages. Go hubpages Go you deserve better things.

   Stop writing on Hubpages and start writing on Infobarrel, Squidoo, Blogger, Bukisa and my own sites.
   
   I have over 300 hubs (on all accounts) here and I keep meaning to diversify. This gave me the extra nudge!

      I agree. Nothing is secure and that means not having all of your eggs in one basket.
      
      I'm going to work on some ebooks and another site, but keep writing on Hubpages just because I like it.

         Yes, that's the worst thing. Hubpages is the best when it comes to...everything. Which means it's REALLY hard to break away from it!

   I've been hub hopping more in an effort to help flag poor quality hubs to weed them out making for more quality and fewer less quality hubs if you will!

   What sucked is that most 2.0 websites that I have content on took huge hits except eHow. However, eHow decides that they are going to do article sweeps again and are deleting rev. share articles. They're claiming that they don't want any titles that are similar to others. Thus, with the big Google algo. change and with the eHow sweeps, diversifying didn't work out all that great for me for the past couple of weeks. There's been a lot of potholes on the good old information highway lately Hopefully things improve within a few months.
