Maxing Adsense Potential with Each Hub

   I have a couple questions regarding Adsense and I'm hoping to get some insite from you wonderful people...
   
   First of all, I have a high traffic hub that's getting lots of hits and stands as we speak at a score of 100...this single hub was really improving my Adsense earnings - but all of the sudden, all the Adsense ads on that hub have disappeared...I'm freakin' out because it was a money maker for me...As far as I know, I'm not violating any Adsense 'rules'  - it's about buying the right bra and classified in Women's Fashion.
   
   Any ideas??
   
   Also, I was hoping that some of you might be able to tell me how you maximize your own Adsense earnings...are there any secrets you care to pass along to us up and comers?

   Strange. There are blank blocks where the ads SHOULD be, but of course, no ads.

      Yes, I was able to add those myself...but the places where Adsense should be, I've got nothing ---

         I'm not sure we're supposed to add things like sponsored ads.  Did you put those in there and then the Google ads disappeared?  If so, that may be your problem...

            If you have those as affiliates, Hubpages gives you an option to add those 'cells' in your hub.

   Is AdSense enabled for that particular hub? There should be a tick in the box related to program policy compliance or something.

      You should check whether adsense has been accidentally set to none or low as has been said by Charlemont.

   I find the adsense ads a bit hit and miss at the moment and a lot of totally unrelated ones that deff wont make me money.

   sometimes, i find blank spaces (in places of adsense units).  I try to refresh (click refresh button of the browser) a couple of times, then the adsense units did appear.

   I had a problems with my ads disappearing last week. But this the ads are always there when I check. Or maybe I'm not checking at the times when they are missing.

   I would say if it is not a long term situation, it just could be adsense is doing some updates on their site, if it just is a hit and miss type of thing it should not be much to worry about.

    AdSense uses automated technology to identify content that may not meet it's program policies.  I suspect that system has identified your hub as "mature content". 
    
    The only way that I know of to fix this, is to adjust the text of your hub a bit.  The difficult part is that you won't get immediate feedback -- it may take Google a day or two to notice changes you make and reevaluate your hub's content.

    I find that refreshing the page five or six times causes the ads to appear...but what outside visitor is going to refresh a page that many times??
    
    I have to get this figured out or it's going to drive me nuts!!

    I have been doing quite well using Adsense, not just with Hub pages but with some other sites too...At first, I was going to start a forum to pass these sites and secrets along, but I think I'm going to do a Hub instead...stay tuned and THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

       A good name for the hub would be "AdSense is not dead!"
       It's just that the rules of the game have changed.

    The ads you see where it just says "sponsored links" (but not Google), are ads served by Microsoft, and they only run in the HubPages share of impressions.  That program isn't open to small publishers at this time, so we can't offer it as an option for Hubbers yet.

       Paul, I've been curious as to whether or not these are against Adsense TOS, as I thought that you couldn't put ads on the same page with Adsense ads that looked similar.

       What is the minimum requirements of a publisher to display ads served by Microsoft? I ask you, because I am interested on Microsoft ads also...

       I think that's your best bet.  If you had ads for a long time, it could be that recent comments triggered the change.  It could also be that google adjusted their algorithm.

    Google Adsense is an automatic mechanism as Paul said with crawlers that attach relevant ads to your article called  GoogleAds and Sponsored Links that Paul said hubbers are not paid for yet because it is a Microsoft Sponsored Program.
    
    If you find that your earnings are slipping, more often than not the readership may have peaked and is tapering off.  You may do as Paul suggested and tweat your article with updates for the GoogleAds. 
    
    Another thing to do is to check your Stats on the edit page and see where your readership is coming from. If you have not shared the article with Digg.com then do so. Also distribute your articles with other networking sites that are not listed on the HubPage but can be found with the Share It icon if you have added it to your Google blog.
    
    An easy way to update or tweak you HubPages is to make your topic more transparent.  Unlike a novel, a internet article needs all the prevalent information in the topic to increase readership and will therefore increase your earnings on GoogleAds.
